It's in. It didn't make it into the initial patch notes.

  • Increased the base damage of Shotguns in PvE.

  • Changed shotgun PvP modifier to 1.0 (was 1.65).

  • Changed the general PvP modifier to 0.55 (was 0.40)

These changes will reduce TTK in PvP, increase damage for shotguns in PvE and decrease their damage in PvP.

Added a couple of things to the patch notes:

  • Changed shotgun PvP modifier to 1.0 (was 1.65).

  • Changed the general PvP modifier to 0.55 (was 0.40)

EDIT: original post now says "July 23rd", but "source" link to post on Ubisoft Forum still shows "June 23rd", someone at Ubisoft needs to let "Ubi-Johan" know it needs to be updated too.

Fixed! :)

I think it's a great point that loot changes could help everyone but it's also worth noting that the folks on the production side that would be assigned to these 2 potential focuses would be on different teams. It doesn't necessarily mean that we're locked into such a binary decision.

As soon as we have more info on these topics, we'll talk about them with the devs responsible for them :)

I'll admit, it's interesting to see the intersection of Tom Clancy realism fans, MMORPG Power Trinity fans, tactical shooter, and looter shooter fans, (as well as countless other sub-categories in between and beyond) all participate in this game with varying ideas for how the game should move forward.

I think this is an important question to keep in mind, for sure. But I don't think that TU5 alone will go so far as to push The Division 2 too far into the realm of "choice paralysis." Perhaps it might be beneficial to ask not only "What mold would work best" for the game, but also what kind of experience are you looking for from playing?

A reminder that accusing people of being trolls or dog piling on others is in its own way trolling and can ultimately derail a thread just as much if not more than a comment made in bad faith.

Let's try to get this thread back on the OP's topic and the natural extension of the thread rather than the finger pointing, please.

As a player I can understand the desire for end-game money sinks, and getting a solid reward of high quality gear from such a sink is always nice... But it feels like it would come with a handful of issues whichever way it could hypothetically be implemented... not to mention really put a finger on the scales in the 'Sell vs. Deconstruct' conversation. At the end of the day, and again this is just my take, it seems like an overly complicated solution to a s... Read more

This is an interesting idea, especially for the end-game economy within The Division 2. I've been keeping an eye out for threads on that larger topic, so I'll make a note to follow this one as well.

Hey everyone. Closing this thread as it is primarily talking about a cheat or third party service for the game. If you come across websites like this, please PM them to myself or another Community Staff member. Posting it on the forums really only has the potential to increase the actual traffic to these sites which, for various reasons, is best avoided.

I can appreciate the topic being brought up, but posting the link publicly is antithetical to the apparent purpose of this thread.

Just out of curiosity, what do you run for skills along with this general setup?

There's a lot of pieces in play that we aren't quite able to see yet. An Explosive resistance build may be helpful against Seekers, yes, but what of the TU5 Snip... Read more

Yes. It's something we want to bring to the game. I don't have a status on this yet but the goal is to allow players to choose a server.

Sorry for the inconvenience, lag can be terrible to deal with.
