We saw login issues across all Riot games this morning. There does appear to be lingering issues with social features that we're continuing to investigate.

For right now, it's scheduled for the next regularly scheduled patch. We noticed an increase in client crashes with our no-downtime patches, so we're being a little bit more careful in our deployments until we get a good handle on why that happened.

If there is a fix that we feel warrants the impact of an unscheduled downtime, the fix to the ghost would be brought along with it. We understand that this current state is frustrating, and we have some fixes we're prioritizing to make it easier for us to respond more rapidly to bugs like this one in between major patches.

I know it's anecdotal evidence but I bought the ghost when I logged on today and I've played 3 matches and in all of these I had massive fps issues, from normally having 130-140fps to ~90 even when no action was on screen, this wasn't happening when I played last night. I have not tried playing with the skin equipped and usually buy the ghost on pistol round, so maybe the render could cause some issues?

I'm not sure what may be causing the much lower fps, my pc is in the same state as last night

Should not have an impact on performance. The bug was related to one of the upper level upgrades of the ghost in the skin line. We haven't made any changes to the client since the patch this week.

Should be the purple button with the "!" on the launcher. The message should show up in the client next to the battlepass progress top left, but it looks like it's not consistently showing up. Looking into that.

That sounds good, having a schedule, and I love the times as well! I would use your attention, while I have it, to also suggest moving the daily reset timer earlier in EU, because right now it's a bit inconvenient for people who have time in the morning only, since they reset at noon.

I believe we're pushing a change to make that early morning (like 4am) sometime in the next day or so.

Yes, we'll have a ticker posted in client 24hours in advance for future patches. Our general schedule will be platform down for maintenance at 6am for Americas, 2pm for KR/AP, and 8pm for EU (all times Tuesday PDT) for our standard patch timing. There's still potential for that to adjust, but that's our intended schedule.

Throughout the day today. We do the americas region first, so we have the business day to manage issues that might arise, then asia pacific and kr, then EU

Sorry for the lack of update! We did run an update at the time, but it did not solve the root issue and only solved a small portion of the issue. We have a fix planned to deploy with the the patch downtime this week.

So they gonna turn off ranked each time they introduce new map/ agent? If that was a reason they could just remove them from ranked.

We'll probably hold off on new map availability in the rated pool as a steady state until it gets soak time in unrated.

I just saw a bunch of game ends process. I think a few game ends were delayed getting back from those servers due to the connection disappearing. Basically, the platform thinks your in a game that the game server no longer has.

Are you still in that state? I want to confirm if the game ends processing improved the situation.

Two different accounts are stuck on the loading screen? Which loading screen are you stuck on? Is it showing the match you were in? Or is it the start up loading screen after you login?

Okay, that's good to know. I know we have seen some erratic connections and latency for players from the Philippines on a couple of the isp's you've mentioned. We're actively working to try to see what we can do to optimize the routes for some of those ISP's.

It looks like an ISP maintenance by one of the major carriers dropped traffic to one of our datacenters. We appear to have recovered.

I'm reducing restrictions/leaving penalty for the next hour, so that those who were impacted can get back into game if it incremented their penalty.

The enemy team usually has drastically lower average ping than our party as well.

Which ISPs are the people you're playing with on?
