I have seen some issues with N versions of Windows because of a missing media pack. Have you tried downloading the Media Pack from the Microsoft Support website to see if that might help?

When you have the chance can you try downloading the Visual C++ Redistributable packages from the Microsoft Support website to see if that helps? If there's a problem with a missing or corrupted file that may help fix it.

It seems like it might be an issue with an NVIDIA driver. Have you tried a clean reinstall of your NVIDIA driver to see if that helps?
