Hey @dSKyNafinchin,

There isn't currently a way to send in-game messages to people outside your own party. I've seen similar messages from other players pop into my group's chat a few times as well but it's not an intended part of the chat at this time.

As far as the robot-ish voice, that sounds like you may have the "Play Incoming Text Chat as Speech" option enabled in the Audio settings menu! That's a separate setting not directly related to this issue. Mako.png

Hey @VermiculusNox,

 

We do not accept videos as proof I'm afraid, as the Terms of Service team makes those decisions based on what can be verified in our own records.

 

Keep in mind that simply having video of the game where the ban appeared doesn't mean the behavior leading to the ban occurred that same game. In many cases that behavior may take place in previous games or days and the penalty will follow after being investigated further, so a video really wouldn't show us much in that regard.

Have you tried running Origin as an Administrator?

 

It may be worth setting your download location to a new folder and starting a new download there. 

 

Once the new download has started, stop it (after a small amount of progress), close Origin, and copy the files from the old location to the new location.

 

Restart Origin as an Administrator and try restarting the download at the new location. 

 

Let's see if it recognizes your installation at the new location after that point.

Sorry for any confusion on this one. I'm showing an email was sent out a few days ago that goes through a couple steps you'll need to take before you can get back into the account.

 

Can you check your email again including any junk/trash/spam folders to make sure this didn't get caught there?

 

It looks like the ban was already removed, so you'll just need to follow up on the steps in that email to log back in.

Are you able to check and verify the Origin library location is pointing to the correct install folder on your computer? 

 

That option is in Origin > Application Settings > Installs & Saves.

 

If so, try going through these steps to clear the Origin cache and let us know if that changes anything for you.

We're not able to look into this on the forums.

You would need to appeal this by creating a case with an advisor to have the Terms of Service team investigate, which you've already done.

At this point you've done what you can and I see that case has already been passed along to the TOS team, so you'll just need to wait to hear back from them. Mako.png

Hey @R0GUE-l7, you're welcome to put in an additional appeal as you mentioned doing here until the Terms of Service team says they won't be able to look into the situation further.

Ultimately the TOS team has the final say in these matters as they're the ones able to look through our records and the account activity to see what happened at the time.

Sorry to hear about this! That type of behavior is absolutely against the spirit of the game and is not something we find acceptable either.

 

There is now an option in-game to report players for Teaming so we can take a closer look at the situation with a bit more data from that particular timeframe. That's going to be the best way to bring this directly to the attention of the correct team if you should run into teams doing this. Once you open the report option in-game, this option is under Gameplay Disruption > Colluding With Enemies.
