If that turns out to be the case, you're welcome to send in a second appeal to have a separate person from the Terms of Service team look through everything again.

Ultimately the decision for an initial ban and any appeals are based on what we can verify in our records for the game and account activity.

That's something that can only be done by the TOS team and they'll have the final say, so it really just depends on what they find in their review(s). Mako.png

Hey @iPyromix, besides the fact that it is a pretty trivial matter to change an IP address to get around theoretical limitations like this, limiting account creations based on IP address would also affect perfectly legitimate situations like family members, roommates, college dorms, and so on. This in particular is fairly unlikely to change.

Depending on the code that was claimed, you may need to log into Apex through Origin if those coins still haven't appeared in Steam for you.

 

Did you buy the coins from the in-game store or did you purchase a code somewhere else?

If I'm not mistaken, your screenshot is from the Link a Device option. That looks like the same text I get when choosing This is the OLD DEVICE in the Link a Device setting.

 

If you open the Settings menu and then select Connect, you should see the following option.

Definitely appreciate that you're trying to look out for fellow players, @Pure_Funk_Nugget

 

It does sound like Moongrave is acutely aware of their specific situation and how various effects affect them, so I don't think we need to delve into their personal situation further here.

 

Since we did get some direct confirmation from developers this is being discussed with the team, we'll leave that feedback here and close up this thread for now, thanks everyone.

I'm afraid there isn't an alternate route to have bans looked into aside from submitting an appeal to the Terms of Service (TOS) team, as they base those decisions on what can be verified in our records and have the final say in those matters.

 

That said, you're more than welcome to submit another appeal and someone else from the TOS team will do a fresh investigation to see if something was missed that could get you back into the account here.

 

If you haven't already, please reach out to an advisor again and they'll send this back up to the TOS team to be reviewed.
