Hi @solita_lol I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues starting the Dawn of Ragnarok expansion.

I can confirm that the issue with the image not loading under add-ons is a known issue, however this should not prevent you from accessing the expansion. You did however mention that it is showing as owned and not installed, this would mean that the expansion has not been installed which would explain why you are unable to access it.

Can you please go into Ubisoft Connect > Click on the Games tab > Click on Assassin's Creed Valhalla > Scroll down to Owned DLC > Click to install Dawn of Ragnarok if it's not showing as installed.

Once installed try launching the game again and see if you are able to start the Dawn of Ragnaro...

  • Your map showing all of the visible mastery challenge locations and to show which two are missing
  • To show that if you go to the locations of the mastery challenges that are not visible on the map that you are unable to interact with them

Hi @stedmister I'm sorry to hear that you fallen through the map whilst playing the Saint Guthlac's Point Bear Trial.

Can you confirm the following:

  • Have you only experienced this once or multiple times?
  • If multiple times is it always in the same location?


If you keep experiencing this issue I would recommend fast travelling to another location, fast travel back and restart the trial again. If the issue persists could you please provide a video that demonstrates this issue.

Hi @frumpygerbal I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to move when you are in Svartalfheim.

Could you please confirm the following:

  • What was the last quest you completed in Svartalfheim?
  • Did you experience any issues such as the game freezing or crashing?
  • What is the available quest in your quest log at the moment in Svartalfheim and what is the objective of that quest?
  • When did you first encounter this issue?


Do you also have a previous save before you encountered this issue that you could load? If so please try this and confirm if the issue persists.

Hi @drunkenskitzo I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to complete 'The Plight of the Warlocks' mystery.

Can you explain exactly what happened. Did the Hunter and Warlock fight each other? If so did any of them get killed?

Could you also provide a video that demonstrates this issue.

In the video can you show the following:

  • The mystery icon is still showing on the map
  • Go to the location of the mystery icon in-game to show the Hunter or Warlock cannot be interacted with
  • Go to the Warlocks hut

I'm also sorry to hear that you are not getting the option to forge the Fiery Warsong and that the Fiery Muspelheim Champions tale is locked.

If you have the 3 broken blade pieces in your inventory then you must have confirmed the kill on Rammr and Throttigr. Have you completed the quest 'Blazing a Trail' yet? If not this will be why the Fiery Muspelheim Champions tale is locked.

Hi @idle__hanz I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues downloading the Dawn of Ragnarok expansion.

To confirm when you launch the game and go into the in-game store and then into add-ons there is no option to download Dawn of Ragnarok from there? If not could you please provide a video to show this.

Hi @josso_ I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with one of the chests in the Anderitum Hideout trial.

Can you try leaving the trial and fast travelling to another location on the map and then fast travel back near the challenge location, go to it and try doing the trial again.
