I must say that I am unsure if the Jomsviking's are intended to be silent or not.

I will test this myself when I play the game tonight to see what happens and if it's the same I will check with the Assassin's Creed team.

I'm pleased to hear that performing a clean boot resolved the issue. A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and start up programs, therefore it's possible that one of your applications was causing the issue.

Does the game work fine now if you launch your PC normally?

I'm also sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the quest 'The Poor Fellow Soldier'.

This quest unlocks after completing the Hamtunscire quest arc and defeating all the Order members except the last one. When you return to Ravensthorpe, Hytham should be waiting for you in front of the longhouse. He will then give you a letter which should trigger the quest.

I'm afraid that this issue has not been reported to the development team yet. There is a new update (1.4.1) which will be released tomorrow.

Can you please install the update and confirm if the issue persists. If it does can you provide another video to show this, and to show that you have the latest update installed and also your difficulty settings.

We were aware of an issue where Norvid was stood at the docks in Ravensthorpe instead of being stood at his location at the festival. Some players who reported the issue confirmed that they could still interact with him at the docks.

The development team advised that this issue could not be reproduced in the latest update. Can you confirm if you were able to interact with Norvid before the festival ended?
