We know some players have been affected by disconnection and certain 4-0 error codes recently, we are monitoring the frequency of each code that appears, and what platforms are affected.

Could you please get back to us and let us know what platform you play on, so we can pass this information on to the Siege team?

Hello everyone, thank you for letting us know you have recently experienced this issue when inviting your friends on different platforms for cross-play matches.

I am trying now 2 days to invite my friends too, I am on my Pc and they on Ps4, I can see them online, can Invite them, but they dont get a message for my invite and the other way around, they cant invite me. If you need some screenshots you can tell it to me.


The cross-play features will allow you to matchmake with players across different platforms, however, PC players will not be matched with console players, only Stadia.

This means for those of you playing on PC trying to invite friends on console and vice versa, this will not work at the moment.

Hello everyone, thanks for getting in touch with us since the beginning of March 2022 to let us know you have encountered these 4-0 error codes. We did have previous investigations open about these error codes, but we did see a decline of players contacting us about this after applying a fix from our side.

I will open a new investigation as of Year 7 and let our Siege team know a few of you have been affected by this recently, please stay tuned for further communication from us or any questions our Siege team may need to ask you.

Hello @autarrky, this error code was reported to us around 1 year ago and some work was carried out in the background of the game, to help prevent this .

Thanks for that video @STAX I can confirm this is what is known as the 'join bug' by some Trackmania players, thank you for the up-to-date streamer clips.

This issue will cause players to enter spectator mode and not be able to leave without a restart of the game. Some players will use an Open Planet plug-in to workaround this issue where they can leave the lobby, instead of needing to restart the game.

This issue has been a difficult one to try and fix by our dev team, if there are any data packets that are lost while connecting to the match this error can occur...

Hello @maxlime thank you for getting in touch with us about United Forever.

There can sometimes be an issue with United Forever/Nations Forever internet security settings when launching the game or needing to enter registration keys. Could you please try the following steps which helped players before who also encountered this specific 12157 error code >

Press your Windows key on PC and type Internet Properties and open this panel > Advanced > Security > Uncheck the 'Check for server certificate revocation' option > Apply > OK

Relaunch your game and test if the game will now allows you to enter your key and play. The Internet Properties panel should look like this >>

Hello @n0us thanks for getting in touch with us about the club menu. We've had similar reports from players about the controls not working when Open Planet is installed after the update. Can you please uninstall Open Planet from your games directory and then test if the game is able to register your navigation in the club menu, as some players reported this worked for them.

Some players reported this issue was caused by anti-virus software such as F-Secure and making sure to whitelist the game in your settings, as well as your Windows firewall settings, could sometimes fix this. Hello @j-ampt thanks for getting in touch with us and welcome to the forums! The Track of the day can only be played in the Standard or Club access versions of the game, it allows players to play the highest rated custom maps for that day, as voted for in Map Review mode.

Could you tell us if you have the starter (free), standard or club access version of the game please?
