Hello @shivaxi thank you for providing these comparison images of lighting and shadows when playing a map. I will send this over to the TMN team to look into.

Would you also be able to let us know what GPU, driver version, and CPU you are using, so e can replicate this on similar hardware?

Are you also able to upload the map file you are playing on, or send us a link to it, so we can test it on the exact map you were playing you took screenshots from? Thank you.

Hello @techiehelper thanks you for bringing this to our attention.

Are you able to give us a little more detail on this bug you are reporting, for example, are you using the official ManiaScript to write this script, or another application like Open Planet script?

Can you also provide us with a screenshot of this Loading Data error log, or take a full screenshot of your command lines in the script interface, to help us report this to the Trackmania team with more detail?

Can you give us a little more information on this bug, is it the bug that will affect some players and place them in a birds-eye camera view, where they can not join the race, which they will need to restart the game to resolve? Or is this another issue?

That's brilliant @Grymlock thanks for that file, I will pass it to our team now and update you when we know more.

As a side note, the team were a little concerned about the 9mb car skin file size, believing it may be too big. They recommended trying to reduce the file size amount in the meantime, whilst they look into this, thank you!

Thanks for coming back to us @Grymlock my apologies I skipped over your original post from March where you mentioned deleting/resettings the config folder and clearing the cache.

In regards to the Config file deletion, in most of our games, when launching the game again after deleting this file, a new config file would be generated in its place, however, this is the first time I've heard of the creation of a new 'Trackmania' file, so this is something I can ask our QA team about our current investigation we opened for your skin issue.

Could you let us know what Internet Service Provider company it is you use, as our Trackmania team always like to gather this information on a players connection for most issues?

Hello again @Grymlock thanks for all of the extra information you have been able to give us about the export error and the creation in Substance painter, I have passed this onto the team.

Our QA wanted me to ask you the specific 4x questions >

  • Does the issue still occur after deleting Documents\Trackmania2020\Config folder?
  • Does the issue still occur after using the Clear Cache button from the game? (Settings>System> Clean cache?)
  • What are the internet settings that you are using? ISP, download, upload speed?
  • Are you able to send us the .zip file of any car skins that are giving you this issue when trying to export? You can send us these files by attaching them to a case here > ...

Hello everyone, sorry to see you a few of you are experiencing this  4-0xfff0be25 error code.

This error code has been reported to us previously and some work was carried out in the background to help prevent this from affecting players.

Could you please try disconnecting any third-party accounts that you do not use very often from your Ubisoft account here, as this was known to sometimes solve issues with the 4-0 error codes? > https://account.ubisoft.com/en-US/account-information

The Recruit operator is available in all game modes except Ranked and Unranked. I believe in order for players to use Recruit in Ranked, they must not have purchased any other operators and leveled up to Ranked level by using only the Recruit character.

Your game is directly attached to your Ubisoft account, it can not be transferred between any Steam accounts.

All of your in-game progress is also attached to your Ubisoft account. If you create a new Ubisoft account or Steam account, you will need to start your progress over and unlock your operators again.

A player is only able to transfer the game between Ubisoft accounts, that they own two Ubisoft accounts, and they can only transfer games by when consolidating both accounts into one...

BattlEye is quite strict and can block certain programs from running in the background of your PC, alongside your game, could you please try the following troubleshooting direct from BattlEye to help try and resolve this error message >

One thing I have to be sure of as its missing from the first part of your video, can you confirm that you followed these steps exactly? >

  1. Save your work-in-progress car skin by selecting 'Save Project' in the skin editor. This will save your project as a .zip file
  2. Select 'Export Skin' then select the text that says 'unnamed' and enter a name of your choice
  3. Select 'Upload Skin' option in the Garage menu and select your the car skin .zip file from this folder > Models\CarSport

I currently have no workarounds for this particular contract but are you able to quickly capture a video clip demonstrating how you are unable to kill the Jotun, so we can report an issue with this quest to our QA team, for when it is next in the quest rotation?
