We worked on ton of different improvements. RWG might be the biggest. Water sim, water mesh creation, chunk reset and file manager were some of the larger changes.

Locking this one.

Yep. In years past we have had streamer weekends where we saw a nasty bug or two and made fixes over the weekend. Or sometimes it is just an annoying bug where worlds need to be restarted. I'd rather have a lesser amount of annoyed people having to restart after a few days.

Alot of the heavy lifting for bandits was done in A21, but it wasn't quite ready so it was pushed back to A22, which is supposed to have a shorter turnaround time than A21 did afaik.

You are correct, almost everyone including us are off of work. But seriously, if there is a major bug on release day, I'd rather less people experience it on a Monday, when we are all already at work and the appropriate people can try to fix it before the weekend, when many more people would be effected and annoyed. That is why many big companies make releases or updates during the week.

i think you would be better off just shelving this game. by the time youve made any meaningful progress a update with be out breaking your save file, followed by another update and another.
you see where im going with this right?

The last update that forced a restart was a year and a half ago. We keep getting reminded that it has been 18 months of the same thin... Read more

TFP had 6 months to gauge fan responses and react accordingly and they did nothing. They don't care or read feedback.
Or the feedback you see as "majority" was not in fact. From where I'm sitting speaking purely of the Steam forum with no consideration of the main forum, There was easily as much pushback for it being fine as there was saying it was awful, So at worst I'd call it 50/50- Definitely not a majority. But, How we perceive the situation is naturally subjective.

I see you edited this part in, several minutes later after I posted (8-9 minutes after), so I'll respond to it.

We have had the groundwork and I explained it. Two, we should have menu options that we can change before we start the game. Using F keys while in-game is a weird way of changing ...

Has it occurred to you that "spending so much time on adding this" might be the prelude to opening up the option for choice down the road? Like, You need groundwork to accomplish being able to toggle things individually- And we now have a basic groundwork of 'everything is off or everything is on'. instead of just 'everything is on'. Specifically what that means is that we do now have the groundwork to turn things Off, even if it isn't on an element by element basis.

Originally posted by Monkey Magic: I have never used the club TBH, never liked the swing animation, and it looks, and felts awkward. After completing the initial quest to craft one, I will immediately scrap it and craft four spears instead. That has been my go-to since I first started playing the game.

As a rule I tend to pick a melee and ranged set based on the main statistic I'm playing, and in the case of Strength, I'd rather go Shotgun/Axe, than Shotgun/Club.

In terms of melee weapons as a whole, the knife and baton far outshine the club in any case (though the latter does require some getting used to at first, and the former is garbage early game) and even the wrench is a better melee weapon that club IMO

Usually, you would end up with bugs that you wouldn't have if you had started clean.

Experimental is unstable. It's expected that you will need to wipe at every update, and an update can happen pretty regularly. Every day in some cases. Every 2-3 days is pretty common.

That means wiping and starting again every few days until Stable drops.

Opting into experimental is for testing and reporting bugs. It is NOT for extended gameplay.

Ideally, yes, any saves made in the experimental should continue to work in A21 Stable when it releases. This is not a guarantee, however, as it's possible (if unlikely) that something that necessitates a new save might crop up mid-experimental.

It does make sense with how it works. Spawning 2.6 zombies means 2 zombies plus a 60% chance of one more zombie. This allows us fine grain control, so we could scale an entire POI by 80% and it still works. Counts below 1 will always spawn one zombie, so you don't get empty volumes.

That should not have been listed. The dodge is not even done for bandits. That is just a prototype.

This is pretty much a global standard for the 12-hour clock. I'm not sure why you wouldn't know this already. Especially if you're old enough to meet the maturity rating for this title.

Maybe you should take a break? You've been really unnecessarily rude in a lot of your recent posts.
