They've actually been updating Navezgane gradually as new POIs come in the last few versions, either replacing really old POIS with it, or replacing the original version of the POI with the suped up version.

So, I'd say it's reasonably likely that Navezgane will have a lot of the new POIs.... But not likely to have ALL of them, Since there is a HUGE amount of new POIs. So the answer to the OP's question is 'No, it won't'. You're not going to get all POIs on a single map whether it's RWG or Navezgane. Sorry :winter2019sadyul:... Read more

Current sizes are 6k, 8k, and 10k in Vanilla. For a dedicated server you could make anything from 1k to 15k as long as it's a value of 1024.

The whole point of Alpha is developing the content for the game. Once you're nearing the end of the cycle, less content is added and more focus goes into streamlining and balancing the existing systems.

And it should also be noted that a LOT of work did go into the Bandit/Survivor NPC's and systems during a21 development. It just isn't ready for a21.
As for the story, I'm pretty sure TFP has had that mostly done for along time now, and it's just waiting on the final content to be available to utilize it.

Monday afternoon. Most likely around 1pm Central US, but has been as late as 8pm before.

Currently I'm pretty sure there will be another patch to fix a few of the bugs the streamers found, and to do some balancing. You will know more when it is announced.

Originally posted by Greymantle: A21 so far has been a major disappointment for me. The huge focus on traders, vending machines, and how they are implemented is immersion breaking. Why are they so well supplied? Who is supplying them? It sure isn't me, so what gives? With only one person at the trader, how does he keep from getting robbed? The whole setup is poorly implemented and is very immersion breaking for me.

What worries me is they seem to be forcing the trader interaction on us. What is their love with traders? Why are they setup like an Amazon store in game? sigh... Thank God for modlets and the ability to mod out traders. It seems some where along the way they forgot this was a survival game and not a one stop supply place...

I'll put it this way....

Here are my settings for a20.
https://i.gyazo.com/860cd8db4b647cefb9015ebbcea52f42.jpg
With those settings, I'm averaging 100-120FPS with the exception of the skyscraper bug tanking it to the 60-90 range.

In a21 I also enabled Reflection Quality at Medium, Reflected Shadows, Shadows Distance medium, SSAO on, and SS Reflections.
With those now optimized premium features enabled, I am averaging 144-160FPS. The large city framerate dips are down to the 120 range.

And just for reference, here are my system specs.
AMD R9 3900X overclocked to 4.25GHz currently (I can run up to 4.4GHz, but some games have issues)
32B DDR4 RAM at 3200Mhz
MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming Z Trio that is OC'ed a pinch over the factory OC.
OS and Saves are on s... Read more

Correct. The original UMA system was supposed to allow for much more variety on zeds. Random features and clothing for each one. However it was so poorly optimized that once enabled to it's full extent, you could only have like 10 entities alive at once before it started lagging a high-end system.

Now that UMA has been replaced with a much better optimized system, maybe we will see some more variety added. No promises though, as TFP might just leave this to the modding community.

It was always satire even before the edit. They just realized that some people weren't getting it and needed a hint. ;-)

It does not work like that. Dew catchers are often in unloaded chunks, so they are not actively doing anything. When you open one it is simply an elapsed time check. A simple reliable mechanic with low overhead.

A21 RWG time on an AMD 7950x, 64GB RAM, g4 NVME with default settings is:

4k 0:50.

6k 1:50.
8k 1:56.
10k 4:16.

You will get a fairly big pause at "Smoothing street tiles", but it is still working. Times do vary some with seed.

Not to belittle you here, but lets be honest... Conan Exiles, as a program, is a hog. Funcom definitely has problems in the optimization and quality control departments.
Yeah, but I have always had a pre... Read more

I followed the gameplay Dev Stream with Lathan (Prime) and I was impressed by the incredible performance of A21.

People were spawning dozens of zombies with the Twitch integration, while, in the meantime , a giant soil cube was collapsing without giving any lag....

Streamers or not, they would not do a public release on a Friday. Even if Streamer Weekend did not exist, you still would be getting it on Monday so that they can be hands-on if any serious bugs arise.
