Not terribly surprised. With a dedicated server and the game separate, the two processes are likely going to be assigned to different CPU cores so it breaks up the load into two smaller chunks.

Hosting straight up from the client though puts all the eggs in one basket as it were.

No shooting.
The 4x4 has more than one. Driver and passenger and with seat mod, you get 2 more in the back.

No plans for touching that.

More vehicle improvements for A21:
Ragdolls from death have a short time they can still collide with vehicles (was boring before as they slid through vehicles).
Improved vehicle hit forces on ragdolls (accurate body hits for more realistic tossing/spinning and those hits are a higher percent of damage, so more blood).
Vehicle hits can cause dismemberment.

No change, but it could probably be fixed by having the projectile continue to raycast after hit and if collider gone, then it falls.


The particle issue is a different system, so fixing one does nothing for the other.

I've heard it mentioned, but was never seriously planned, so not on my radar.

Mostly private servers and single players. Most users tend to shy away from public play as Dudorino says, since most don't want to deal with trolls/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/griefers/etc.

At 1 it stays there and each time it takes damage, there is a chance it explodes and goes to 0 health. Since it takes more damage now, you might actually get to see one explode.

It's a problematic design. It flies in the face of having a 100% destructible world, and it creates multiple classes of exploits, which I don't want to detail here.

I've written at length about how I would implement traders instead. In short, a trader would be based out of a food truck instead of a big stationary compound. The truck appears on a random road in the morning, and disappears at night. No warping or invulnerability needed. If destroyed, it's gone until the next day.

Anyway, I've never experienced warping that put me above the ground instead of on the ground. I'd be curious to know if you'd been digging or building in the area right next to the trader POI, so that the original ground level changed.

It could be changed, but we would have to spend time to look at the issue involves with flipping it back and where you appear coming out and if we even like it that way.

The miners helmet is just a helmet; Needs the flashlight mod on it to use it as a light.

It does most often spawn with a light in it- But rarely it will spawn without a light, and any crafted copies will not come with a light.

Possible? Yes. Likely? No.

There is, and has been, a safe zone set around your spawn point when you make a new character- No zombies or hostile-capable animals will spawn in this zone for 12 hours.

The sticker here is that if you go too far from spawn, Or enter a POI far enough to spawn zombies, the spawn protection will end.

RNG spawns. Pay attention to your surroundings. For the most part they only spawn at night that early into the game also; So be extra careful at night, and when heading out the following day.

It's important to note here that you can now have a gun and a chunk of ammo day 1 too- Recommend making that a priority craft. Just takes some pipes, glue, and wood.

No, but I may change that tomorrow.

It is possible, but the particle alignment looks best on horizontal surfaces. There is currently an issue with particles sometimes colliding with moving colliders and stopping in the air.

Yes, they were fine. The changes were to make the number of repair kits needed to be different and reasonable for each type of vehicle.

Vehicles would take the same damage as a20. Those blocks have a damage multiplier that increases it for the block, but not the vehicle.

Have you tried hatches? They’re 1x1 but that’s what I use and it works pretty well in combination with catwalks.
