It should be possible, iirc.

If a single person is streaming, Anyone in their party can be given effects by chat using the character name, for example, "#supply_book Shurenai".

That said, Party effects might be a toggleable option that I'm unaware of.

More details needed. Read the Pinned thread on how to report an issue, and follow the instructions.

Not for every update. Just for Major updates.
EG: You do not need to restart for A19.0->A19.1, Or A19.1->A19.2; These are 'Minor' updates that, for the most part, your save should be forward compatible with.

However, For 'Major' updates like A16.x->A17.x, or A17.x->A18.x, the saves are not compatible. The time span between updates is significant though. For a minor update it might be a month or so, But for a new Major update to come along, it can be as much as a year; More than enough for you to happily start and finish a save.

And as mentioned, you can always opt into a specific version to contin... Read more

If I may, the OP is arguing that unlike changing the difficulty, changing the zombie alert level disproportionately affects a stealth/agility build more than other character builds. And I don’t have a good rebuttal to that. Though I will point out that existing options also affect some builds more than others. For instance, messing with block damage could affect a mining/strength based character more than others that don’t do much mining.

It would be nice if stealth mattered more. Currently, it’s like all zombies in a building are wearing earmuffs. The devs don’t want all the zombies to wake up at once, and as a consequence, a bomb can go off in one room and zombies two rooms away won’t notice. :bummer:

One of the reasons i stopped playing this game. I cant believe its so difficult to adjust zombie spawning if you are in your base that is bigger.

I mean, the solution for this would be if the player is inside base, zombies should spawn 30m from the BASE and not the player. This just kills creativity where zombies can spawn inside your...

The game used to play a sound effect if you were teleported - the same sound effect as when your character spawns or re-spawns. Ever since that change, I’ve worried about the lack of feedback for what just happened, especially for new players like you.

The game could probably trigger a journal entry when this happens. Or they could overhaul the traders to not need these magic invincible bases in the first place. In fairness, this is the first I’ve read of someone asking about it, so one could say it doesn’t seem to be a common problem.

Bloodmoon zombies can spawn about 30 meters from your current position. If you stood in the middle of your walls, they would only spawn inside.

Video resolution is also an important factor. Conventional wisdom is to not go above 1920x1080. You can find a lot of existing threads with more advice.

Maybe you’re spending time at your base, so it’s only playing the ‘home base’ track?

Not sure why it’d be extra quiet, but you can turn all the non-music sounds down quieter and then increase your system volume.

The stages roll in, Not replace one another. Once you reach the next stage, it starts appearing in loot- But the previous tier still dominates.

So after 11 gamestage you can start finding guns- But that doesn't mean 99% of your loot won't still be junk. But then by 100, you dont find much junk, and find more good stuff.

Iirc, The conditional bonuses like the ones provided by Batter Up Vol 2 and Magnum Enforcer 2 or Firemans almanac vol 7 are not added to your extended character stats in a visible way at any time.

They're calculated at the time of receiving (or dealing, where applicable) damage. When you receive damage, it checks all your equipped armor/clothes, through which it determines if you are eligible for any of the conditional effects, and then if you are, includes that within the calculation to determine damage taken.

Also Vol 2 of magnum enforcer is 5% for the full set.

I can appreciate that. If it’s any consolation, Steam has the ability to download old versions of the game that still have infinite worlds.

They should or shouldn’t? Anyway, what’s supposed to happen is if the body disappears, any projectiles stuck in it are put in one of those little cloth sacks for one more chance to retrieve it, before the sack disappears too. Generally, things that aren’t blocks will de-spawn sooner or later, as a form of garbage collection. For the sake of long-term performance, the game world is designed to not get cluttered with more and more stuff.

This has an infinitely better chance of happening in Alpha 21, since TFP are delaying an armor/clothing overhaul until then.

Also be aware that 16k requires a system that exceeds recommended spec, and it is not stable for multiplayer even with exceptional hardware.
