That has not been worked on yet. The details of how it will work and what zombies has not been decided.

Crawlers currently path on 2m heights just like all the rest of the AI.

An airport does not have to be huge. It could be whatever size you wanted to make it. Like a small airport with one to two (parallel) 100m runways.

Originally posted by Timberwolfjc: Totally my point. I like the idea of the hold "E" and make active and/or the two bed "main & field/temp". As for easy to mod, thats fine for people who know what they are doing, but I think it should be part of vanilla, not something someone has to go in and mess with the games coding. There are a lot of people who dont know enough to go in and try to code it in. I am one of them.

I take your point that it’d be easiest for users if the change were made in vanilla. But I do want to point out that only one person has to figure out how to mod it, and then they can share their mod. Not everyone knows enough to mod, fair enough, but a lot more people should be able to use a mod.

I feel this on so many levels. Have a sympathy updoot.

When multiple things are listed in the requirements list, Only one of the options is needed to do the thing.

Miner 69er rank 1 teaches you the iron tools recipes, for example.

OK, but the OP wasn’t talking about performance at all. Out of respect for what they wanted to discuss here, please don’t hijack their thread. The topic of this thread - and yes, I’m saying this formally as moderator - is gameplay settings that may make the game unplayable long-term.

Many people make the mistake of thinking less experience points = harder and more experience points = easier. In reality, you’re controlling the speed of (potential) progress. The zombies scale up based on how much experience you accumulate, so more experience = harder zombies.

“No traders” isn’t something you can set in the settings. If you simply choose to never visit a trader, you miss out on the 4 skill points you earn for completing the starting quest. That makes it one of the more significant restrictions you’re imposing on yourself, in my opinion. You won’t be able to do any other quests either, but you can still loot a building without doing a quest...

No quests means no re-spawning loot in points of interest. However, 8K is large enough to not run out of places to explore before you get bored in my opinion, at least for a single player.

Entirely arguable, and honestly more based upon your chosen skill tree- If you're heavy into perception, Marksman rifle should win out, as the Dead Eye perk is the one that affects sniper rifle weapons. Likewise, if you're heavy in the Fortitude tree, you'd pick the AK due to the Machine Gunner perk affecting assault rifles. In either case, the main stat itself bolsters the effects of the gun, so even if you don't have the specific perk, just the stat alone boosts efficiency.

If you're speaking strictly and purely about ammo conservation, Then, Sniper rifle weapons (Hunting Rifle, Marksman Rifle, Sniper Rifle) would obviously win out- They fire slow, but, every shot if aimed well is likely to be a kill.

...But that slow firing is very important when you're being rushed by 8 zombies. Not having the option to fire from the hip, or pop out several shots in short order could get you killed.

In your specific situation, with 350 rounds and an imminent h... Read more

The way the game handles multiplayer saves is server-side; Your save data for a server is stored on that server, and so, theoretically, the client used to connect wouldn't matter so long as the game version matches the server version (And of course EAC and all that.)

Real developer here. Small fact-check. Real developers rarely release or even approve of ship dates. In fact, we generally mock them as the imaginary tripe they are. Upper management and marketing folks are the ones to dream those up from nowhere, while apparently ignoring the engineers' input. Real developers think a ha...

Dates force deadlines. Deadlines force cut content, Or a loss in public image.

If you say you will do X by Y date, then you either do X by that date, Or you fail to; And in the event of failing, you must either decide to forgo that thing entirely to meet "the deadline", Or to push back the deadline and suffer public backlash for failing to keep your word.

The devs regularly talk about what they're doing, what they'd like to do, but they very pointedly avoid giving dates now because they've seen how badly it shoots other developers in the foot (And indeed, has even happened to them sev... Read more

They did no such thing. :winter2019neutralyul: You may not approve of the pace of development, But that statement you made is downright libel. At no point have they ceased development, It's still ongoing, and will continue to be so.

To the OP, No planned date. They had a huge list of features set forward in the kickstarter, and until it's all included, polished, and done, they don't intend to fully release the game.

I would say probably not... Just the mere fact that a player COULD crack open that steel block shell from level 1 with a crappy stone axe means that, undoubtedly, many people would do so as the reward for doing so would likely far exceed the time expenditure of doing it. And then they'd complain on the forum moaning about how long it takes to break in.

Never underestimate the perseverance and stubbornness of a player.

There might be some way, but not via anything shown in that video. As far as I know, you can’t spawn more sleepers than you’ve placed sleeper spawns.
