They don't restock- But if you're right on the border of trader shop tier, you can access 2 different inventories.

EG: Have 9 int, and nerdy glasses, buy all 5 ranks of the better barter perk. Check the inventory, then exit and take off the glasses - Because you now have 9 int, and rank 5 of the better barter perk requires 10, rank 5 will be temporarily inaccessible, and you'll only have access to rank 4. But with rank 4 you now have access to the rank 4 shop which is different from the rank 5 one.

This most likely is what happened- You flew home, at some point changed your eyewear, possibly to looting goggles, and lost access to the upper tier- OR vice versa, You got home, grabbed your dukes, and wanting to reduce the prices bought up your better barter perk- but the result is the same, you end up with a 'new' shop inventory.

This happens because the trader generates 6 separate inventories each restock, one for each better barter tier and one for not h... Read more

That’s not a bad idea. You have to refuel though, so it still wouldn’t be as long a stretch as you make it sound.

It does if you have enough VRAM. GPU's with less than 4GB VRAM won't get used for world generation.

Well, Thor has at one time traveled at multiple times the speed of light while Captain Marvel (whose power is some space light) can't even do light speed.

(keep in mind that digging too deep into comic book lore will get you into Arkham Asylum)

We want to have rather MORE cool effects like bleeding to flesh out weapons and perks, not less. =P

There are so many "zombie lores" out there that you only have to pick one that works.

Missing bits do not always and automatically mean you bleed to death.

Also, it's a game, not a medical simulation.

His CPU is even older.

I ran an i7-3930k OC'ed to 4.25Ghz with a 1060 6GB, and the game was perfectly playable.
At stock clocks that system would struggle to hit 60FPS though.

Is it the fastest way to gain XP? No. Is it fun to go out and kill some zombies? Sure! They're like the buried supplies quests. If I have a vehicle, I can drive over, bang it out, and be back to the trader in an hour or two of game time.

I mean, people run extra forges for the express purpose of getting screamer hordes, because they want more zombies to kill. That's a bit counter-intuitive for a survival game. But if the setup to kill some zombies can be re-framed as, let's proactively clear out a flareup of zombies before they become a greater threat, or let's get on a faction's good side by taking caring of some zombies for them, that seems like a better framework to me.

That post is basically backwards. There is a huge increase going to low, which is the point of low, to disable terrain visual features so it runs faster. The difference is bigger on lower end hardware that has trouble with those features. The recent changes to the terrain shaders make those features run faster, so what they want is already done.

No specific work yet.
Probably both. Special infected will likely cover a range of behaviors allowing common zombies as the more stupid ones, but the whole range can't really be balanced across the entire game until there is an entire range to balance.

Don’t knock that smaller one story Crack-a-book if you haven’t tried it yet. The drop rate is low but there are a lot of bookshelves in there.

You’ve identified precisely the problem the developers face: quantity versus performance :bummer:. With sleeper zombies in POIs here to stay and taking up some of those limited spots, the thinking has been that outdoor populations won’t go back to A14 levels again.

But there are at least two rays of hope. One, in the current A19 they’ve removed the respawn delay for zombies in the wasteland biome specifically. So there are effectively nonstop z... Read more
