That is a POI specific spawn. Just like the junkyard has several dogs.

Polygons are not expensive though, at least in normal use cases. The controller and pathing/AI is where all the CPU goes. It would look bad too seeing low poly filler zombies next to high poly regular zombies. Everything needs to be the same fidelity.

A roaming dog horde the day before bloodmoon is pretty normal. They are also extremely easy to avoid as they follow the same mechanics of a wandering horde.

Get Rekt son. A40+ stuff right there. Anyhow you should know that feature lock means no new features, but I know you are joking so it's fine, I jest too, there will be no A40 lol. I'm even blocking new art content because frankly, it will make A20 that much better versus being "meh" for A19.x.

Infection may well be a death sentence in the early stages.......So why are you putting yourself in situations where you're at risk of infection that early?

Before you get some kind of antibiotic (Honey, Herbal antibiotics, or antibiotics), Do not engage in melee combat with zombies. If you must engage, Only take swings you know for certain you'll hit and that won't put you at risk.

Also get armor ASAP- Padded armor at the very least, it's crafted with cloth and duct tape.

Traders always selling antibiotics is a cop out. It's too easy to get dukes, Either it's then expensive enough that you can't just easily buy it in which case having the trader sell it doesn't help the early game, Or it completely trivializes ever getting infected since you have a guaranteed source of antibiotics.

It's a survival game....Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, The cards just aren't in your favor, And you will die..And that's okay.

You can play single player. That's always been an option.

I have not seen that bug nor have I seen a bug report from testers. We would need a reproduction case to fix.

This still happens. On the server-side it's adjustable to an extent, but if the map file size for the player map gets too large, it will cause sync issues.
The default is 131072 chunks. I have tested doubling this up to 262144, and have not had any issues, but much larger and the client will begin to de-sync from the server when i... Read more

Yep. Now the physical size of the container better reflects how much storage space it has. And there's a progression to better containers as dr.toast said, instead of having the best container from day 1. Of course, even with the storage chests, you can just make more than one of them. I find that's a good idea anyway, to better sort things.

I personally look at it from the perspective of 'You are FAR from the first person to have come this way'.

By which I mean, 7DTD takes place YEARS after the zom-pocalypse. Store shelves are looted, Gun factories have been stripped top to bottom. It's rare to find anything of use anywhere. Many people had to make do with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tools in lieu of not being able to find something good; And when they found something good, do you think they kept those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tools? No. They tossed it, Just like you do when you find something good. You either throw out or scrap your stone tools the moment you find something iron.

So, to me at least, It's not that immersion breaking to find stone tools in places i would expect to find iron ones- Hundreds and thousands and tens of thousands of people before me have stripped the countryside.

Then later, once your gamestage improves (Which is somewhat arbitrary), you stop finding places that people left their crappy stuff, a... Read more

A lot of work went into balancing it through the early development in a19. Once you figure out the mechanics, you hardly run out of stamina ever.

Now the question is, are you getting hit more than once in a short time frame?
