Hey, sorry to disappoint here but these are specific design decisions that won't be changed.

You can build the Docklands on each of your islands in the Old World and Cape Trelawney (and not just on one) and all will be visited by the Captain. You can then still transport goods you traded between your islands.

Not something we have any influence on as the Anno team, but the game should only be 50% off, not 90% or more, the price shown at check-out is the correct one.
I assume it's a conversion or display error on the store website directly.

Contacting Ubisoft Support is the right way to go, they can forward the issue to the Store Team to get it fixed.

It definitely has a Russian interface if you have a version that includes Russian

You're right that we should've also posted it here on the forums, we're working with limited resources at the moment, unfortunately.

The Anno Union, however, has always been the central place for all news and updates around Anno 1800 (and the History Editions). So we definitely recommend checking the website regularly for Patch Notes and DevBlogs as well as News and Announcements.

I've now linked the Release Notes and general news here on the forums, too.

Hello Annoholics!

The first DLC of Season 3 - Docklands - was released yesterday.

Not only will this allow you to construct your very own modular warehouse district to make more efficient use of your harbour area, but also give you access to the new Export/Import Contracts feature. With those you can exchange goods at specific rates, even in large quantities, which allows you to specialize your economy and even focus exclusively on certain goods while importing the rest via contracts.

The Docklands and its modules allow you to turn your harbours into global trade hubs which you can make shine additionally by various new harbour ornaments like *drumroll* two different kinds of lighthouses! We know youve been waiting for those 😉

You can find more details on the DLC in this ... Read more

I was wondering, before I commit to the Dockland DLC coming this week, if I need to buy the Season 3 Pass or not?

Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello StormHammer69,

Welcome to the forums and to Anno! We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the game. Yes, you will get a prompt similar to the one below when first loading the save after purchasing the DLC. Make sure that you select yes, as the decision is final as Brumiros stated.

It's true that choice is great and that it most likely wouldn't be an issue to have that as an option, but consider this:

Let's stick to the 10% and say: We need to put development resources (manpower, money, time) into a feature that only 10% of our players are interested in while we could alternatively use the time and money to develop something that more players would enjoy. A bit simplified, sure, but in game development (and any other kind of project planning), prioritization is super important.
Add to that the aforementioned point that we think this is going against what makes Anno "Anno" and we end up in a situation where we have to say: Sorry, but multiple huge islands or landmasses will not be added to the game.

Hey all,

we're aware of performance issues since Game Update 9.3 and our team is currently looking into it.

The game should still start, though. Please try verifying your game files:

If you have a savegame in which any DLC are activated (in this case you seem to have activated "Sunken Treasures" in this savegame at some point), it can't be played if you have (for whatever reason) not access to the DLC anymore (same scenario: you send your savegame to someone who doesn't have any DLC).
You can only continue playing this savegame when you own the related DLC.

We're aware of it not being properly displayed as "owned" in Connect - sorry for the confusion. However, you should be able to build the 3 new ornaments already.
This will tell you that it has been activated successfully.

Hey Niki,

we're not planning to get rid of islands and only have one large landmass on a map.
One of the core pillars (and challenges) of the Anno series is settling islands with limited space and resources and setting up trade routes to supply your cities.

There are no plans to implement community mods into the game.

They are their own projects and we're happy to see what kind of ideas the modding community comes up with. Just keep in mind that mods are not officially supported and might cause issues or lead to bugs.

There might be a teaser or two in the game, but not all Easter Eggs are necessarily teasers :P

Regarding your initial question: We generally recommend buying game and any digital content on the same platform.

If you are having issues with a purchase or activation, please get in touch with with the support of the place you bought it from and/or the Ubisoft Support to investigate the problem.
We won't be able to assist you with account or store related issues here on the forums.

Hello stanford-lee,

Welcome to the forums! The Complete edition will not contain the Season 3 pass, that would need to be purchased separately.

The complete edition includes:
- Season 1 Pass
- Season 2 Pass
- The Deluxe Pack
