Mods are already getting updated as we speak, please give everyone a chance to update their mods. The modders have done an amazing job preparing for this patch, but as this is a hobby they need to have time to apply the updates and fix any issues that weren't discovered in testing.

The service point needs to be placed on a regular road as garbage trucks need to be get to it. It isn't a service that runs on pedestrian streets, it's a collection point for outside traffic. If that makes sense :)

You paint a pedestrian area over the buildings and place a service point in the area. Then the garbage gets picked up from the service point.

Is this the same if you add the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods to Steam and attempt to start a new city?

How To Set Launch Options

Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
Enter the launch options you wish to apply in the box (be sure to separate each code with a space). Should look like this:
-noWorkshop -disableMods
Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

Looks like an issue with Find It. Try disabling it for now and check the list of known broken mods to see if you have any other troublesome mods.

Looks like 81 tiles is causing you issues, there's a fix in testing here, or you can wait for the original mod to be updated.

Hello again city-builders! Plazas and Promenades is almost here, and I’m so excited that you will soon be able to enjoy it. As with every major expansion, we have a little something for all players who own the base game, and today’s Dev Diary is all about the free content!

Let’s start with a convenient new feature, Quit After Saving, which can be enabled when saving your city. As you may have guessed from the name, it will quit the game once it finishes saving, allowing you to skip the process of saving, waiting for it to finish just to select exit and get a warning about losing progress if you haven’t saved. Very handy when you’re done playing and just need to save and quit the game.

You can turn off automatic updates through Steam, but the game will update when launched. You would have to either disconnect from the internet before launching the game or put Steam in offline mode to avoid downloading the update - and in offline mode Steam unfortunately disables the Workshop content. So I'm afraid there isn't a good way to postpone receiving the update.

The Plazas & Promenades expansion is out and with it patch 1.15.0-f5. If you don’t use mods, then enjoy the new content and check out the patch notes below!

However, if you do play modded, note that a major patch like this is likely to require mods to update. Modders have been hard at work preparing updates, but please be patient while they apply those to the Workshop and sort out any issues that may not have been found in testing.

Wait for mods to update - or help see what mods need an update.
