If you haven't already please check your mods against the list of broken mods, both the first tab and especially the tab named Patch 1.16.0 (Financial Districts).

If that doesn't help then please make a thread on our support forum. We need to see your output_log.txt (called player.log on Mac and Linux) to ... Read more

First, let me clarify the situation with Natural Disasters. The DLC doesn't include a fix, but as only Natural Disasters has the option to put out forest fires, trees can only catch fire when you have the DLC installed. If you don't have the tools to deal with it, you won't experience it.

At some point this bug snuck its way into the code, so not having Natural Disasters doesn't just disable forest fires but building fires as well. We believe we have a fix for the issue, but at this time I don't have an ETA for the next patch. Once we do have a date for a patch, we'll make an announcement in the News section.

No there isn't, we don't provide more versions of the game. It also wouldn't help anything as mods updating are likely not compatible with the older version - or at least this would require more work by the modders to achieve.

Infinite Demand and Game Anarchy are listed as replacements for the broken Demand Master. If one doesn't work, I recommend trying the other. Make sure to check their descriptions for any known incompatibilities

Intersection Marking Tool and Traffic Manager: President Edition have been updated for the latest patch. Financial Districts is out and with it patch 1.16.0-f3. If you don’t use mods, then enjoy the new content and check out the patch notes below!

Patch notes[forum.paradoxplaza.com]

However, if you do play modded, you will be greeted with a notification when you start the game alerting you that some mods you are subscribed to haven't been created for the current version of the game. Opening the Content Manager will show you which mods were not made for the current version of the game, however, this does not mean the mod is broken. The notification is there to help troubleshoot but to determine which mods are known to be broken and which have been fixed, please see the list on the spreadsheet which can be accessed by clicking List ... Greetings city-builders! Financial Districts is almost here, and that means it’s time for not only the patch notes but also the goodies we have for you in the free patch. While not as packed full of new content as the Roads & Vehicles update last month, we have a few new additions we hope you will enjoy.

Let’s start with the new visual options: the addition of 6 new Color Corrections. These can be found in Options under Graphics and tweak the colors and brightness of the game. Want your temperate city to have a colder look? Maybe more vibrant blues and greens in your tropical city? Or maybe you prefer more muted colors to capture the right vibe. We hope one of the new options provides perfect the look and feel for your city.

The new options include Cold, Dark, Faded, Neutral, Vibrant, and Warm

Greetings mayors, or should I say, investors? Today we're taking a look at Financial Districts, a mini-expansion for Cities: Skylines arriving on the 13th of December. It brings new financial opportunities to your city such as investing in city services, providing banks for your citizens, and building up your central business district with the new Financial Offices specialization.

The Stock Exchange The Stock Exchange is central to Financial Districts, it functions as the city’s financial hub unlocking both investments and banks and can be found in the new Financial Buildings tab under Unique Buildings after reaching Milestone 6: Big Town. But the Stock Exchange is more than just a unique building to increase your city’s attractiveness, it provides a tax bonus to any surrounding buildings of the new Financial Offices specialization, and it can be upgraded to increase the bonus and unlock more buildings.

I recommend checking the list of broken mods, it lists known replacements, and as both Automatic Bulldoze v3 and Bulldoze It aren't on the list, one of them should work for you.

If I remember right someone made some healthcare assets with negative upkeep, which resulted in earning you money. It's been a while though and I can't find the assets now, but you could test it out for yourself and see if it works somewhat like what you're looking for.

I'm done putting money into this game. I'll check back in a few weeks to see if it's all resolved. I went through the latest version of the compatibility report, unsubscribed to all mods that have conflicts and I still can't get it to load. The update release workflow is flawed at the expense of the user experience. Simply allowing the user to decide what updates are used and when is the solutio...

And that's enough of insulting others for their preferences, thank you! If you can't engage respectfully on here, take a step back and don't reply until you can. Lots of people enjoy playing without mods, lots of people enjoy modding. There's room for everyone here. :)

Originally posted by Merrlin: What's the point of playing a game that is supposed to work with mods, if it doesn't work with mods? Sure some mods will be out of date, but this seems almost deliberate and it is frustrating when everything worked fine yesterday and today it takes 3 hours to fix, update and find that your favourite mods are no longer considered compatible, AGAIN, 2 months after the last forced update/patch. It's a bit much and many are becoming disenfranc...

Originally posted by Marksman: I mean, updates are definitely a good thing. But I just don't understand why couldn't they be optional, as it's not a multiplayer game. It would make everything so much easier if we were able to update it when we are starting a new city, or when we know for sure the mods are up to date.

Different versions become problematic when it comes to both providing support and modding the game. When everyone is on the same version of the game, no matter what expansions they have or when they started playing, mods all reference the same code base. We can have a list like the spreadsheet of mods that are known to not work, modders can make their mods compatible with each other, and modders only need to m... Read more

Let's keep the swearing to a minimum, thanks! I know it's frustrating having to troubleshoot mods, but I'm afraid that's part of the package when you mod the game. We cannot guarantee that 3rd party modifications of the game work, that's why there's a warning when you first enable mods. We offer early access to a lot of the modders so they're able to prepare updates and have a pinned thread to help with the process. I'm afraid that the choice is to either mod the game and go through mods when there's an update or not mod the game. I know that's not the options you are hoping for, but as we have already announced the next update, this won't be the last time you go through your mods.

Originally posted by DeLeeuw: Respect for all modders, once again they all have to update all of their content. Must be frustrating time consuming work. I wish good luck and I will wait patiently until everything is up to date again;)

We're down to just 3 known broken mods and a few minor issues (most of which carried over from Plazas & Promenades). The Steam Workshop servers are having some issues, so keep that in mind when testing out a modded save, but it's possible your save is good to go already. Of course, make sure to save as a new file just in case some issues are discovered later.
