Seems like I have to delete the folder everytime I switch servers.

Thank you!

No, you should not need to do that, either there is a permission problem or one of the mods is faulty.

White-Tiger and the other officials have no mods to download, so this message appearing is worrying. I'd suggest to remove the whole Strange Loop Games folder in AppData/LocalLow and trying again. (It's a hidden folder in your user folder, you might need to change Windows settings to see it)

If that doesn't work, an additional full uninstall and reinstall would be the next thing to try. This likely is caused by mods and unfortunately we do not offer support for modded clients, but the nuclear solution should work in any case.

Doesn't change my assessment. Eco is in Early Access and has little performance optimization yet. I obviously don't want to talk you out of buying the game if you really want it, I just can't make you hopes for fluid and fun gameplay with those prerequisites and don't want to be unhonest to you. You're very invited to try it out - on Steam you got 2 hours for refunds, on our website you got a voluntary 14 days after purchase no matter how much playtime as long as you DO NOT LINK your account to Steam.

It might have been good if you posted what specs you have as well.

In all honesty, if it's a Laptop AND it's below minimum requirements, you'll likely not have much fun and if it works at all is highly doubtful. For example, if you have less than 2 GB VRAM or just exactly that, you'll very likely have issues. I mean you can try via Steam Refund Policy, but our minimum requirements really are _hard_ requirements.

It's completely random, but underground.

Yes, as Eco has no water physics at this point, the aqueduct is the only way to transfer water somewhere.

I totally agree.

We typically can recommend PingPerfect. They have high prices, but they deliver what they state guaranteed. We had a lot of issues with Nitrado in the past, but they ultimately cooperated to get stuff sorted.

Hey, thank you for answering. I actually figured this out by myself, but now I have another (cosmetic) problem. I changed MaturityAgeDays to 0.1f, which is 2h 24min. So I slept (two times, 5 hours in complete). After that, the tress had grown just a little bit, they were sli...

Now that I think about it there is a perk that is similar to what I was suggesting but it pertains to crafting stations, the one that requires .2 more room tier but reduces resources needed by 5 percent. So I'll have to be satisfied with that. Kee...

You can also fill the fountain with blood and other weird fluids, depending on where the sun stands. The Eco gods sometimes aren't easy to understand.

Nice read as always, though I'm a "bartering is useless and boring, start with a cool government (or even society) concept and global currency and work flexibly from within" person and can only recommend everyone to try that as well - it's great. It's also typically the servers that have the most retention. And the meteor may still fall, as White Tiger likes to say. ;)

Pretty much every server host should allow you to change Difficulty.eco config file.

Haha, great read and thanks for the kind words :)

You should bury it as deep down as possible, at least 25-30 blocks below ground, in stockpiles for example.

Not sure if that makes sense as nearly everyone building houses makes them out of matching materials already, so it would pretty much be a buff to everyone. On top, we do want people to experiment with other materials for diversity, so that wouldn't help with this either.

SteamCMD and manual server files don't update automatically, so I guess you use the server tools from Steam? Should be able to change version for those via betas, just like for the game.

If you are with a game server provider, you'll need to ask them if and how that is possible with them.
