Item integrity is a mega important topic for us so if something like this happens, please use the in game bug reporting tool right away.

Is everything rolling back or just a few things?

If it's offline, it's probably steam sync getting confused.

Edit: I haven't seen reports of this so I'm not thinking it's happening a lot.

We have a steam sale planned for when we get official steam deck support. That was placed to be the start of the imperial uprising event but we decided to push that back because it isn't quite good enough for us yet.

Several LE streamers have Nexus stores which you can buy the game on. It gives you a full steam version. The big difference is that streamer gets a cut of the sale so you can pick your favorite.

That version went on sale with the start of the imperial uprising event. I'm pretty sure it's still on sale there right now.

We have just released a small hotfix reverting the stash tab optimization changes from 1.1.7.2 due to inventory graphical issues. We will continue investigating this to get a new fix out as soon as possible.

Appreciate you. Working on getting a hotfix out tonight still - it will address some of the things like loot labels, stash slowdown, isle of storms quest, and a few others.

Edit: encountered an issue with the hot fix build that we’ll be trying to resolve tomorrow. Will keep people posted

Using character name instead of account name display in-game means it's much more confusing to figure out who is who in general chat, or grouping with people. Particularly for players that jump characters a lot, or don't use uniform character naming like "EHG_Kain_ShieldBash". There's certainly arguments to be made for both sides, but we decided to use account names as the representing name to make for more consistent social experiences with other players, and get to know other players.

Character names are displayed on leaderboards, but primarily so you can keep track of characters. If you're like myself, and have > 100 characters combined offline and online, having names allows some way to track what character is what. IE. my 1.1.7.1 character is "HAVEYOUSEENMYSHIELD" - so when I see it in the character list down the road, I go "oh, that's my shield bash character."

This is a known bug. You can however open the forge anywhere by using the forge hotkey (default 'F'). The physical forges in the world are primarily just as part of world building.

So the idea here would be to dump into a tab before looking over the gear to decide if you actually want to stash it properly if I understand correctly.

Peformance updates are a huge initiative for us as we're working towards console launch. Performance improvements, lots of gamepad-specific UI improvements, amongst other things we have in the works will make the Steamdeck experience significantly better. We did introduce UI scaling with this event patch which is a big improvement for the handhelds like Steamdeck/Ally/Go.

Please understand that we are not advertising the game as Steamdeck verified.

Steam has actually greenlit us to turn on "Steamdeck Verified" status but we won't until we address these things. We'll let you guys know when it's truly ready. We're working on it.

with 1.1.7, The quest was changed to have three parts:

  1. Visit the shrine in the center
  2. Collect the east and west fragments
  3. Return to the center, and activate the Pearl Altar

You no longer return the fragments to their individual altars. We have heard and are investigating reports that the quest may encounter an issue if you collect fragments before visiting the center shrine to obtain the quest to collect the fragments.
