In the default version of the game, you can only select general ghosts via the pause menu for your area, bronze, silver or gold medal opponents.

• Mouse and keyboard
• Dualshock 4 Controller
• Xbox One Controller
• XInput compatible gamepads
• DirectInput compatible gamepads
Other peripherals such as your steering wheel may work with the game, however, they are not officially supported and may require third-party software to work. This means for any compatibility issues with your wheel and the game, you may need to reach out to Thrustmaster or whoever is the wheel manufacturer for any troubleshooting steps you can try for this axis problem

You should be able to enable records by going to Settings > Interface > Always Show Records.
Records should now be on the left of the screen in tracks and you can view / race against ghosts of those with an eye icon beside their name.

@ddariq Hey there! Sorry that you ran into this issue when getting Trackmania United Forever installed. A suggestion for this would be to uninstall one of the games, and when you reinstall it, see if you're able to select a different installation folder, or change the name. This might help prevent this issue from happening again in the future.
