So sorry to hear that you are getting this error when trying to launch the game. There are a few troubleshooting steps that I would like you to try.

1) Run the game with administrator rights
2) Make sure to update your drivers
3) Clear temporary files
4) Disable any background applications that are not needed

I'm sorry that the game is crashing when you enter Test Mode! Thanks for providing that video so I could take a look at what's happening. Can you let me know if you hit "Y" at all before the car started moving? It looks like we have reports that hitting the Y during a test and then going back to the editor causes the game to crash.

@lackadal Thanks for clarifying! Are you able to grab the replay and upload that to YouTube? I know you had mentioned before you could upload the replay somewhere but I also see in the original post you mentioned you weren't able to upload the raw replay, so just wanted to double-check if it was possible or not. @thanatrixx Hey! Glad to hear you were able to get this figured out. That is strange about the PSU being recommended for the graphics card but also makes sense if the rest of your setup has upgraded components as well. I feel like I also need to grab a new PSU soon even though I only have a 2070, haha. Maybe I will get lucky and nab a 30 series card one day. 😁

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing the game freezing up while using the map editor. Appreciate you providing those clips for us to take a look at.

Any blocks that, when placed in ghost mode, show a curved platform as the second block option (on the left), while they have a square shape, will cause a freeze. For example, 11-1-4-2-2 has a square base but when placed in ghost mode, shows a circular alternate block on the left.


Would it be possible to grab another video for us that shows the above issue as well? Once you have that video, you can share the link here and we'll be able to take a closer look.

Thanks for the update, and sorry to hear that those previous troubleshooting steps did not help. It is strange that this happens regardless of what program you are using, and also only occurs when playing a map in Trackmania. @thanatrixx Thanks for trying those steps, but sorry to hear that this issue has persisted for you! Since you are seeing that Trackmania is not accessing the GPU, I'd like you to please try these steps here. Even if your 3080 Ti is already the dedicated/default card, going through the steps and saving settings in the NVIDIA control panel might help with the performance and crashing issues you are experiencing.
