In some cases this error can pop up due to a corrupted or missing system file. The anti-cheat might be catching this and flagging it as a possible security violation. When you have a chance I'd recommend checking out the Microsoft System Files Checker to see if that helps with this at all. It might be able to find the file in question and fix it.

Let's see if we can help fix that here. First, do you have the game installed on an external hard drive? If so, can you try moving it to your console's internal drive to see if that helps? 

 

I've also seen cases where reinstalling the game can help with errors like this. There might be something missing or corrupted in the game data, so a reinstall may help.

Unfortunately that's not the case. We cannot assist with something like this here on Answers HQ. You would need to verify proof of purchase with the EA Help team for them to look into this further. If you're able to provide the proof of purchase they request of you, then they should be able to investigate this further.

We have been looking into the reports of performance issues since the Season 4 update went live. The team has been investigating the issues, but unfortunately we don't currently have a time frame on when it might be resolved. Hopefully we'll have this sorted out soon.

Hey @MassiveVernon

 

I actually ran into this issue myself on the store right after Season 4 went live, but it went away for me after I selected the items on the store. It seems like it was able to download the missing assets once I chose them. 

 

I'm not sure why it's not allowing you to choose anything from the store in this case, though. Does it let you even highlight anything on that page?

Hey all. 

 

I know it can definitely be frustrating when you're running into crashes like this, especially right at the start of a new season. I'd like to try running through some troubleshooting here to see if we can help get this fixed. 

 

First, have you had a chance to try repairing the game in Origin to see if that helps at all? If you right-click on Apex Legends in your Origin Library you should see a Repair option when the menu pops up. Give that a try and let me know how it goes when you can. Thanks!

I'm afraid I haven't heard if there are plans to bring back solos or duos in the future. I know they're both something that the community has been asking about for a while now, but we don't have any updates on that at the moment. 

 

If it is something that's brought back we'll most likely have an announcement to share with everyone. I'd recommend keeping an eye out on the Apex Legends Twitter page for announcements on future updates and new stuff coming to the game.
