Hi @NoahAngelvevo,
I'm sorry, but we don't have a way of recovering progress if it's lost due to unlinking accounts. The progress is permanently lost.

Hey all,
Are you playing through Origin or Steam? Have you already tried repairing the game or verifying the integrity of the game files to see if that makes a difference at all?

Thanks for following up!
Can we try running through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help with this? A good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website. If you're still running ...

Which platform do you play on? Were you able to try running through any of the steps that I linked in my previous post?

Ah, I see. I'm afraid I can only recommend reinstalling the game in Origin and logging into it from there. Once you do, those coins should be available on your account in the Steam version.

Hey @Unovee,
Is your Steam account connected to the same EA Account you're using to sign into Origin? If you start up the game in Origin are you able to see the coins you added?

Hi @th3p0is0n91,
I'm sorry, but account issues aren't something we can investigate here on Answers HQ. I can only recommend following up with the EA Help team to see if there's anything else they can use to help verify ownership of the account.
You can find more information on how to set up a case with them over at the ...

I'm afraid not. As far as I know there is no way to merge Apex Legends accounts or move data from one account to another.

I have a feeling it's related to where the files are saved to store the Apex Legends client settings. If they're saved under the Windows user folder then the game will always be loading the same user configuration regardless of what account is logged into the client.
If your wife sets up a different Windows user and uses that to log into Apex Legends it might allow her to use separate settings. I think it's worth a shot, if that's something you can try out. Please let me know how it goes when you can.
Thanks!

Hey all,
This is a pretty old thread that hasn't been updated in a long time. I'm going to lock it to prevent further necro-posting.
Account bans are not something we can help with here on Answers HQ. The Terms of Service team needs to review the account and determine if a ban can be overturned. If your account has been banned you will need to contact them so they can take a look.
You can find more details on how to set up a case with them on the EA Help website.

Hi there,
If you follow the file path in that error message you should be able to track down that specific .rpak file. Once you do find it try changing the name of that file, then repair the game in Origin. If you're playing through Steam try verifying the integrity of the game files after renaming the file.
Try launching Apex Legends again afterward, and let me know if you're still running into the same error message. Thanks!

Hey @FluffyBurek,
Are you both using the same user account in Windows, or do you have separate Windows users?
/Kent
Hi @MightyMuenster,
The Terms of Service team reviews appeals like this on a case-by-case basis. The length of an investigation can vary depending on the number of cases they're working through. The TOS team will get back to you via email as soon as they can, so please keep an eye on your email for a response.

Hi @alyleaf_bs,
When you've got a chance can you try verifying the integrity of the game files in Steam to see if that helps at all? For more information on how to verify the files check out the Steam Support website.
Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a s...

Hi @JimboforprezTTV,
I'm afraid I don't have any updates to share on this at the moment. The issue is still under investigation, but we don't have an estimate on when there might be a fix. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon. Thanks for your patience on this.

Hi @SeaforthGoalie2,
I'm afraid that account related issues are not something we can investigate here on Answers HQ. When you've got the chance please get in touch with the EA Help team so they can pull up your account and take a look.
