This is a request we've been hearing from a lot of people. I haven't heard if there are any plans to add something like this to the game, but we'll continue passing along the feedback to the team.

Heirloom shards do drop after 500 packs have been opened. If you still haven't received any then you most likely just haven't opened the correct number of packs. 


Also, the drop rate for getting shards out of a pack is always the same. It's very rare (less than 1% chance), and your account level has nothing to do with the odds of getting an heirloom.

Thanks for the details!

 

When you've got a chance would you be able to try rebuilding the database on your PS4 to see if that helps at all? If this is happening because of corrupt files in the database that may help fix this. 

 

To rebuild the database first start up the PS4 in Safe Mode then select the Rebuild Database option...

If you follow the filepath in the error message you're seeing you should be able to locate the specific file. Once you locate it just rename the specific file and launch the game. That might help stop the error from happening.

The dates can vary for each event, but I'm not sure if there's a particular formula for that. They usually run for a couple weeks, but some have been a bit longer or shorter. 

 

When a new event starts up we'll usually post an announcement over at the Apex Legends website with more details. Those posts will have the date range for how long the event will be running. Check out the ...

I understand it can feel nice to have something rare, but the Apex Legends team did say that limited time skins might be coming back again in the future. It's not a guarantee, but those skins might always resurface again at some point.

I appreciate the updates!

 

Can you try something else for me to see if it has any effect? Open up the Easy Anti-Cheat folder on your PC and look for the easy-anticheat.sys file. Delete this file, then try launching the game again. Let me know if it's still crashing the same way after that. .

I see this happen sometimes whenever there's a rank reset. If you play some ranked games on your own it should sync the ranks back up after a bit.
