Can you try something for me when you've got the chance? 

Follow the filepath in that error message and you should be able to locate the specific .pak file it mentions. Delete that file, then repair Apex Legends in Origin. If you right-click on the game in the Origin Library you'll see a Repair option when the menu comes up.

From the video you linked it looks like you're getting prediction errors when the game starts hitching up like that. It might actually be connection-related rather than a problem with the mouse. Can we try out some connectivity troubleshooting to see if that helps at all?

Did you try resetting your EA Account password using the steps in my previous post? If not, please give that a shot when you can. It can often help out with the "invalid account" error. 

 

If it's still giving you the same error after setting a new password please reach out to the EA Help team so they can take a look. They should be able to help fix this for you. The links in my post above have more details on how to get in touch with them.

Whenever you open a pack the contents are automatically captured and added to your account, so even if you disconnect or you don't see the pack opening animation the pack contents will be added. When you have a chance double-check and see if anything new has been added since you opened up the pack. 


That said, if you haven't yet received an heirloom from opening packs you most likely just haven't opened enough to trigger the bad luck protection. Once you open the 500th pack you'll see the heirloom shards added.

When you've got a chance can you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch Apex Legends? That way if there's something else running on your PC that's causing some issues with the sound that may help to get around it.

Hey @keithkj123

 

I'm afraid we don't have a counter for pack openings. This is something that's come up quite a few times in the past though. If you haven't yet pulled an heirloom you most likely just haven't opened enough packs to receive one. 

 

Once you open up pack 500 you'll get the Heirloom shards, assuming you don't pull some out of a pack before then.

I'm not really sure what may have caused the page file settings to change if you didn't manually make changes to them yourself. Did you make any hardware changes to your PC recently?

It sounds like your EA Account was most likely already banned for another reason outside of Apex Legends. Unfortunately it's not something we would be able to look into ourselves here on Answers HQ.
