Hey @VBIII32,

 

While you may be using the same email for your Xbox and PSN accounts, that isn't automatically the email used for your EA Account as well. 

 

You'll be prompted to log into an EA Account the first time you play any EA game on that platform. If you're seeing repeated prompts to change your password that don't go away when you update your account password, it's likely you have a couple different EA Accounts and you'll need to reset the password for a different, older account instead of the one you've been using.

Hey @snarling23,

 

This is something we're still investigating, but in some cases removing any animated banners you have equipped can help out as a temporary workaround.

 

It may be worth checking through the characters you play and swapping to a common or rare banner to see if that stops these freezes for you in the meantime.

Our Terms of Service team would be the ones able to make changes to an account action and ultimately they have the final say with these situations.

Appeals are not available through any live chats or callbacks I'm afraid, no. Appeals are only handled by our ToS team and a chat or callback advisor would just send a case up to their queue for investigation. 

 

Due to the investigation portion and that these are handled in the order in which they were received it's not something they're able to do live, sorry.

 

You're definitely welcome to resubmit your appeal and a different member of ToS will take a look again, but they won't be able to provide any specifics regarding the detection methods.

If our Terms of Service team has investigated this multiple times and decided not to remove the ban after reviewing our records and information about the situation, I'm afraid that's not something we'll be able to change or address either.

Those types of cases are directed to appeal through our Terms of Service team because they have the capability to see what happened and review the account further. Ultimately our ToS team has the final say in these matters and we're unable to address these via the forums.

Just to be clear, this is not guesswork on the part of our ToS team. Our team is able to see what triggered a ban, though I'm afraid that's not information they're able to provide as it can help individuals that try to get around our detection methods.

While I can understand you disagree with the results of those investigations, you have not been receiving automated responses.

 

Each of your appeals was reviewed by a different member of our Terms of Service team, who independently went through our records to verify the action that was taken.

 

While certain replies may use a template, all these investigations were carried out manually by our ToS team.
