Hey,

Sorry to hear you are having some issues with the mic in-game.

There are 2 suggestions below you can try to resolve this:

1) Please make sure the microphone is set as “Default Communications Device” in the audio settings of Windows to control your communication device.

2) Go to C:\Users\CurrentUser\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\UplayID
Go to GameSettings.ini
Go to Audio
Change "VoiceChatCaptureMode=" to a 1 on the variable.

If you ever want to report a players behaviour, you can do this by messaging us privately on a support ticket or on Facebook or Twitter with their name and evidence of what they were doing.

Hey,

Would you be able to provide a video clip showing your settings that this is set to off and then going in to a game and showing it still shows this please?

If not a video, at least 2 screenshots would be useful.

Hey,

First of all, we would suggest to try the steps found here but for issues like this we really need to be able to look at your system files to help see what may be causing it.

Another good thing to try is to close Uplay, go to your cache folder in your Uplay directory and rename your cache folder to something like "cachebackup". Then see if you still have an issue.

Hey,

Thanks for the report. We are aware of this and it is being looked into by the relevant team. Some players have reported that manually increasing the resolution resolved it for them. I apologise for any inconvenience caused from it.

We do read the forums and we have passed on feedback on how the community feels about players being able to use mouse and keyboard on console. The response we have provided is all we are able to say on it at this time. Whenever we have more information on a topic like this, we'll be sure to post news about it.

Sorry to hear that. I'll report it to the game team but I believe this has been forwarded before as a feedback on the reverse friendly fire system.

Just to clarify, do you mean Team Mate A starts to shoot you, then Team Mate B is able to kill you without punishment?

It's not something we're able to manually remove ourselves at support unfortunately but I can pass that on as a suggestion for future.
