I see your case had a reply the other day but unfortunately I don't have access to restore characters, only our game team have access to this unfortunately, so we'll need to wait for them to get back to us to let us know if they have been able to locate and recover your characters again. You will get a reply to your ticket as soon as we have heard from them.

I see there's quite a few crashing threads started recently (this one was started before the end of season), but I suspect the reason for those may be due to the ongoing issue with the end of the last season and the Season 11 delay (mentioned here).
It will be hard to troubleshoot such issues as this whilst there is a new ongoing issue that is possibly linked to crashes.

While preparing for Season 11, an issue was discovered resulting in delaying the new season, while also ending Season 10. The team is working to rectify the situation. In the meantime, players will temporarily not see seasonal content in Warlords of New York, which may include blank screens, empty menus and error messages. During this time, players can still gather weapons and gear, but will be unable to make in-game purchases. With Season 10’s conclusion, Season Pass progress will no longer be applicable and rewards will no longer be attainable. There is an article published here for more info.
Players can still play The Division 2, non-seasonal activities should not be impacted by this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide updates via our social and community channels.

I'm afraid I don't have any info on if there's plans to add support for them in future updates. If we ever have an announcement like that, it would be posted in the News and Announcements section of the forum.

Ah, no worries. Thanks for letting me know. If we've already acknowledged them and said we've passed on the information to the dev team, then it's in their hands and we can't promise a date (or patch number) for any specific fixes or changes on the forums until we have the patch notes from them just before one releases.
