Hi Vikings!

If you are still having an issue with this quest, please can you specify which of the issues you have?

Unable to progress in "Finding Fritjof" as Tyra is stuck inside the foundry
Unable to progress in "Finding Fritjof" as Tyra won't move after leaving the foundry
Unable to progress in "Finding Fritjof" as Tyra won't get in the boat
Tyra gets stuck and does not move after killing the Muspel patrol during quest objective 'Follow Tyra'

Could you also provide a video that demonstrates the issue. In the video we would also need to see that you have the latest update (1.6.2) installed. This can be seen on the main menu screen before loading your save.

I would recommend uploading your video to a video sharing platform such as YouTube, you can then copy the URL link into this thread. 

Can you also ensure that your latest save is uploaded to the cloud....

I'm sorry to hear the issue doesn't seem to be resolved when it should be from yesterday's patch. Please can you just clarify in a new post below:

  • Platform you are playing on (PC, Xbox, PlayStation)
  • Confirm you have the 1.6.2 update and still missing (Yes / No)
  • Which items are still missing

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I see with the release of 1.6.2 that this issue has had to be closed unfortunately and there likely won't be any changes made for this. Thanks again for all the info you provided and apologies that it wasn't resolved.

Hey @Daejigukbap

As it's started happening since installing the extra content, can you check to see how much space you have remaining on your drive you installed it to? Is it almost full?

Please can you check through the steps in this article and see if there's anything here you haven't tried yet, as we just need to rule out any of the most common causes of issues on PC first of all.

Another good thing to try is to close Ubisoft Connect, go to your cache folder in your Ubisoft Connect directory and rename your cache folder to something like "cachebackup".

If you are using one and having any issues in game, I can only suggest disabling it and seeing if it helps.

You can always manually change the game server you are connected to on PC anyway by follow this article.

Can you let us know if this happens often, always, or rarely please?

If it's not happening all the time, does there seem to be any similarities to when it does, like are you on a certain map etc?

Hey,

Just to make sure I understand this correctly, when you say other accounts, you just mean Windows accounts on your PC, using the same Ubisoft account?

Or are you referring to other Ubisoft accounts too?

Could you record a video clip showing the issue next time it happens please? It's the only way to truly be able to understand how it's sounding and when it happens. If you can get multiple videos of this happening, that would be great too.

It's not a Ubisoft Connect issue @TheArgentinian. It's related to the game itself so would need to come from a game update.

I'm afraid we can't refund in-game purchases, no. I'd suggest to check out YouTube videos demoing the skins first before making a decision on future purchases to see if you are happy with how they look first.

ISP's can always be the cause of issues such as this. It's important to keep an eye on your internet speeds to make sure you are getting what you pay for. It's understandable to bit a little bit lower during peak times but it shouldn't be too remarkable of a drop and I would recommend speaking to them if it was or happening too often during a day, as they may need to have an engineer out to check the lines for your area.

I'm sorry to hear you are still having issues trying to play the game. Someone will get back to you through your support ticket to look into it further with you.

Regarding your question "why in gods name your games take 1-2 minutes to give the player a timeout?", this isn't something we can give you an answer for. The support team here on the forums and the support tickets have nothing to do with the development of the game itself and why that decision was made. I'm sorry to hear you couldn't load into that match. If it happens, we can only suggest restarting the game unfortunately and trying to reconnect quickly whilst the match is still ongoing but if it happened to everyone, then the match will have ended. Regarding the abandon sanction, this is intended behaviour as there's no way for the game to know that you didn't purposely disconnect and couldn't rejoin due to an issue. I'm afraid we can't remove those sanctions if they happen.
