The available languages vary depending on your location (at the time of purchase), not necessarily the game version (like standard/gold editions). This is not something that can be changed after the purchase, though.

It's safe to say we understand the issue, but we still haven't seen any footage, except for the original screenshot which shows the platform at the right place. For the development team to be able to properly investigate it, we'll need a short clip that shows the movable item can't cross the platform, to reach the spot where it's supposed to be placed (like the video guide shows).
Once we have that, we'll be making a full report to the dev team for you!

This doesn't look like a bug, however. You correctly have 14 medallions, and the Father hasn't been unveiled yet (his is the 15th). In order to unveil the Father, you'll need to complete the entire story and all available regions, including Hordafylke (Norway) and Hamtunscire (the region around Wincestre).
Once this has been completed, you'll see Hytham outside your Longhouse and he'll present to you the final quest (The Poor Fellow-Soldier), which will lead you...

The checklist you provided, is the one required to receive certain rewards from the Hunter's Hut, but the achievement requires 2 more animals, that aren't listed there. That's what caused the confusion about it.

I suppose it would have been easier for everyone involved to have a list on the achievement, but that would detract a little of the hunt for said achievement.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble catching big mackerel. I've checked with our developers and I can confirm that they do indeed spawn, but they have a somewhat lower spawn rate. We've already forwarded feedback from other players about the spawn rate, so I added yours as well.
