Just to confirm, are you logged into the same Ubisoft Account and Origin that you originally used when you purchased the game?

If not, you would need to be logged into both of those accounts and they would need to be linked, which should have happened the first time you launched Anno 1800.

Hello @p4et6i8a and welcome to our Discussions!

This FAQ will walk you through locating your activation key.

That being said, you shouldn't need the key to be able to open your game. As long as you're logged into Ubisoft Connect on the same account you used to purchase the game, you should be able to launch from within Ubisoft Connect.

Just to confirm so that I'm passing this along correctly, the opal glitched underground leaving you unable to collect it and then the icon disappeared from the map?

If so, out of curiosity, if you go to where that marker was, can you see the opal at all, or did it disappear when the icon disappeared?

I definitely understand the annoyance and inconvenience, but as for compensation, unfortunately, I'm not able to speculate on that. My apologies for not having a better answer for you regarding that.
