This error you're seeing is because you're launching the game whilst signed in to a Ubisoft account where the game hasn't been activated.

Gotcha yeah it shouldn't affect anything as far as I'm aware. If you did encounter issues a reinstallation would resolve it anyway I'm sure.

As far as I'm aware there's no in-game function to remove them. Manually removing them would be the only option. Is there a reason you're looking to do this? Trying to free up space?
