Hey there.
This is something we have received a number of queries about and so this was raised with the ACV team.
I can confirm that this is working as intended. With every update, more skill nodes and skills can be added to the game, so these new nodes must be attained also before the mastery nodes become available. As of March 2022 with update 1.5.0 there are currently 535 nodes that you must attain to unlock the Mastery nodes before you can spend 1 Mastery point and unlock the trophy/achievement.

I've confirmed with the team that there should not be any restrictions on what Recon Vapor works on and it should reveal all Archaeans.
Could you let me know what types of Archaeans you've noticed this happening with other than Smasher?

I'm really sorry to hear about this. Are you experiencing any particular error messages at all when the game crashes? For you to have been banned for 4 days it sounds like this might have been happening for you quite often. Unfortunately with regards to temporary bans we're not able to lift those as they're implemented server side but we will absolutely do our best to help you out with the crashing and try to prevent this from happening as much as we possibly can.
