Hello @Deadspot80 and welcome to Discussions! Sorry to hear you've started experiencing the Black screen issue.

I can see you performed all basic troubleshooting steps but the issue still persists.

Could you please answer the following questions:

  1. Have you tried unplugging all the cables and external peripherals and try again?
  2. Can you try and launch the game in windowed mode? To do that, you can either rename the game's shortcut target to -w, hit Alt+Enter when the game boots up?

Sorry to hear you can't move a pillar to solve the light puzzle in the quest "Well-Traveled" in Asgard.

The development team has been made aware of this issue and they are currently investigating it.

In the meantime, our teams would like to use details from your progress on Assassin's Creed: Valhalla to continue looking into the issue. Please make sure that your latest save has been added to the Cloud (it will have a cloud icon next to it). This step will allow us to use your save files for investigations.

As far as I understand, you own the physical copy of the game for PlayStation 4 and would like to upgrade to PS5 version.
Please note that an internet connection is required to complete this process, and that the disc is required to be in the tray to launch the game (for both current generation and next generation consoles).

If you purchase a PlayStation 5 console that does not have a disc tray, upgrading from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 for physical copies of the game will not be possible.

I understand you were interested to find out why some songs do not have singing.
I have just confirmed with the game team it's not a bug and it's working as intended. There are the instrumental versions of the songs playing from time to time.

Sorry to hear you can't access the Wolf companion. Can you please confirm that you have completed Assassin's Creed Valhalla's prologue in Norway and have established the "Ravensthorpe" settlement in England?
To begin the side quest to unlock the wolf, you need to speak with the child named "Knud" located just outside Eivor's bedroom in the longhouse. Help him and start the quest called "A Little Problem". Then kill a boar which will drop a key. Use the key to unlock the door and in the basement of the hut, you will find a wolf.
