While the bounding box ends early vertically, land claim is fully to build height and bedrock. Make sure you place your bedroll properly too, and nothing should spawn.

TFP began with 3 people who weren't even experienced in the field. Over the years they've grown their team slowly, and are now up to 20-25ish, iirc. Mind, that's not all coders- includes artists n stuff.

Game development takes time. Even games like Starcraft 2, by the much bigger Blizzard, took 7+ years to make. And even the titans like EA can't just throw 10,000 developers at a single project to get it done in a short time. Too many just complicates things. Even adding too many new people at one time just slows things down too.. takes time to properly incorporate new workers into the flow, or the flow gets disrupted.

RIP your resources. I do agree they should add a warning. Live n learn, for now.

This is something that will come automatically later when workshop support is added. Currently there is no defined mod system.
For example, we have custom mods on our servers that we wrote ourselves specifically for our servers. Clients don't need them installed, and we have no reason to distribute them.

Any server that requires an overhaul mod should currently be flagged as requiring a mod. It's up to the server owner to communicate what mods you need though.

The devs have talked about Tier 7 items that are locked behind extremely difficult areas that you will need specialized gear to access. In these areas there will be end-game bosses that will be extremely difficult. Those bosses will drop the limited T7 items.

They have also discussed brining horde mode back.

High tier POI's multiply your gamestage in regards to spawning zombies (and loot); So yes, Going into a high tier POI, EG, A T4 POI, when you're low level with awful weapons you're going to see dangerous enemies. But if you manage to overcome it, you should come away with loot fairly well above your current stage too.

In short, Pick lower tier quests- Yes, even if you manage to advance yourself through the questline fast enough tor each T4 quests, you may prefer to avoid T4 pois as you're not quite ready for them.

Have flown actual gyrocopters, and though a lil arcadey, it is mostly accurate.

Usually once you realize that it's a glider/plane and not a helicopter, you're good to go.
