Hello @mbt_cooper ! Thanks for reaching out about your missing exotic weapons! Did the game happen to crash or do anything else weird just before you noticed that those weapons were missing from your inventory? I also recommend verifying your game files to see if those weapons reappear for you....

@chacachaca88 All right! Thanks for confirming all of that for me. When you go into the game's settings, do you see an option to run the game in DX11 mode? If so, go ahead and try running it in that mode if it's not already!

@whoiamchik All right. So the game works fine and will launch as it should when you're playing offline in solo-mode, but it will crash when you attempt to play the Online Mode?

@kngsleeze Hey there! I'm sorry to hear that your Xbox controller hasn't worked in so long! Would you confirm for me the exact type of controller you're using to play the game? And to confirm, it did work previously, correct? Did this seem to begin around any kind of major update?

I've passed this onto the team as part of their ongoing investigation into this.

In these cases, having available Save Files can also help with the investigation so could you please confirm if you have a current available save on the Cloud?

Hey there,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with saving and loading your progress.

It is great to hear you have already tried some troubleshooting steps,

Would it be possible to try the following steps?

  • Add the file Anno1800.exe as an exception to your Firewall/Antivirus program. You will find this in the location you installed the game
  • Start the game and Ubisoft Connect as administrator and make sure the Windows documents folder isn’t write-only
