I can see your case open, but it looks like the only attachment is the same screenshot you posted in this thread. We will need your full basic system files, explained in the link in my previous post so that we can review everything for possible causes of this issue launching the game.

Hi everyone! The issue resulting in error 0-0x00000001 might be connected to a recent update to anti-cheat software.

In order to try and fix this issue, please try to do the following:

  • Find r6siege folder in localappdata (the default path is: %localappdata%\ubisoft\r6siege\ and you an access it by pressing Win+R on the keyboard to open the 'Run' dialog and paste the path there).
  • Right-click the r6siege folder and select Properties.
  • Go to Advanced Attributes and make sure that Encrypt contents to secure data at the bottom is turned off.


This should change those settings for any subfolders as well, but you can also check them to ensure this. Encryption of the contents might interfere with how the game works, so it's important that this box is unticked for all of them.

I'm sorry to hear you can't currently launch the game. This error looks similar to other errors received when BattlEye anti-cheat service is not working correctly.

To fix this, please go ahead and uninstall the game files through the Epic Games launcher, then re-open Ubisoft Connect and perform a new installation there.

Since that troubleshooting had no impact on you, we will need to collect a bit more detailed information from you.

First, please find a game replay where you experienced these connection issues and take a screenshot of the full scoreboard for me. Reply to this post with the screenshot once you have it ready.

After that, I will need to know the data center you connect to when starting the game, and the data centers you connect to when you start matchmaking. If there are multiple, please give me a full list.
