Your progress is stored on the EA account where it was first earned, not the individual platforms (Steam, Xbox, etc.)

 

If you unlink a platform from one EA account to move it to another EA account, that progress stays behind on the first EA account.

I'm afraid if you had played on two separate EA accounts, there wouldn't be a way to transfer progress. 

 

Cross Progression makes your content on one EA account available to all the platforms connected to that same EA account, and is not able to merge content from other accounts entirely, sorry.

Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, you've linked an old Steam account to the EA account that currently has your PSN account and progress linked, correct?

 

If that's the case, yes, you'll be able to access the content on that EA account (which would be from your PSN account) once Cross Progression is enabled on your account.

 

Cross Progression is being rolled out in waves, so you'll see an in-game notification pop up once your account has been migrated. After that you'll be able to access the content on that EA account with any platform connected to the same account.

Cross Progression does not combine separate EA accounts. If you're unlinking any platforms from an EA account, you'll be losing that progress.

As a reminder the DirectX12 version of Apex is still in beta, so for those that can't or don't wish to switch from DX11 this issue remains under investigation.

Hey @Wryith,

 

Your Steam account needs to be connected to the same EA account as any other platforms you're wanting to play with Cross Progression, but it doesn't matter which email is used for the account.

 

You can take a look at your EA account page here to see which other platforms are linked. 

 

If you're seeing everything there, you'll be all set once Cross Progression is activated on the account.

Hey @Ronin_Link, thanks for the post!

 

To clarify, the October 26th date is in regards to having content merged, not having Cross Progression activated on the account.

 

This just means that since you created the new Steam account after the 26th, any progress you've made there would not be merged once Cross Progression is live.

 

As long as this is on the same EA account as your Switch account, you'll be able to access your Switch content (aside from any platform exclusive skins) on both Switch, Steam, and any other platforms you connect to the same EA account in the future.

The 50 Bonus Stars from this offer are applied to the current season.

 

At the time this was available, that would be Season 18. These are not applied to the Season 19 Battle Pass.

We seem to be looking at different information. The pictures I've shared of this offer all explicitly state that the stars are exclusive to the current season.

 

I'm sorry if that was missed, but this has not changed whatsoever.

That's incorrect, sorry. Please see my post above, this information was all on the original page directly under the "NEXT SEASON'S PREMIUM BATTLE PASS" text in the top-left corner.

 


Bonus Stars for purchasing early are applied to the Current Season's Battle Pass. Access to the Next Season's Battle Pass will be available at the launch of next season.

We have not announced any specific timeframes for these waves, but they'll continue to go out over the upcoming days and weeks as needed.

The details were all listed on the original purchase page specifying how the stars would be applied, so I'm afraid this is not a bug.

This sounds like you've done everything correctly if your PC and PSN accounts are connected to the same EA account.

 

At this point you'll just want to wait for the notification in-game informing you that Cross Progression is active for your account.

Unfortunately it sounds like there may have been some confusion with that offer.

 

 

The 50 stars(5 levels) are applied to the current Battle Pass which would have been the Season 18 pass at the time this was available, not the Season 19 Battle Pass.
