Thank you for continuing to update this thread with your experiences of being unable to harm Jotun enemies. I can confirm that the dedicated teams have been notified about this issue occurring in-game, and are investigating further.

If you have encountered this issue in your own game, please can you provide us with as much of the following information as possible:

  • Are you unable to harm certain Jotun, or all Jotun?
  • Which areas does this issue occur in? Please be as specific as possible, as this information will be helpful during investigation.
  • What were you doing at the time (such as progressing in a quest, completing a mystery or raid, or just exploring)?
  • How have you tried to damage these enemies? Has anything been successful?
  • Have you tried using the "Power of Musphelheim" to defeat these foes? A number of players have reported that using this ability allowed them to harm Jotuns in the area.

Just to clarify, does the freeze / crash only occur in Svartalfheim? Or has it occurred outside of Svartalfheim as well? Once we've been able to establish this, I'll be able to forward your report to the dedicated teams for further investigation.

Thanks for confirming that you've tried the suggested troubleshooting steps, @Nodzeth, and for letting me know that the freezes only started occurring after picking up the Hreidmar armour set.

You mention in your original report that you're unable to capture a video. Would this be capturing a video via the PlayStation console, or are you able to capture a video using an external device (such as a mobile device)? Having a video of the freeze occuring once the Hreidmar armour is equipped would be very helpful for further investigation.

Thanks for letting us know that you've tried the suggested troubleshooting steps, @GizmoMKD. I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing a crash whilst taking part in the Tjarnar Mylna raid.

Would you be able to try altering your graphics settings? I've heard of cases where playing on "Quality Mode" instead of "Performance Mode," or by lowering the in-game graphics settings, can help to prevent crashes in "busy" locations such as raids.
