After thorough investigation, the development team have confirmed that they will not be able to resolve these audio issues. Resolution of this issue would require an overhaul of the entire audio system from the ground up and is not feasible. As there has been a resolution for this investigation, we will now be marking this thread as "Resolved."

I understand that this may not be the update you were hoping for, and apologise for any impact that this issue has had on your gaming experience. As shared by my colleague @Ubi-Milky, the development team have confirmed that they will not be implementing a fix for this issue. You can read their full statement below:

Thank you for reaching out regarding the audio levels of Eivor's voice. Due to technical constraints and other priority issues, we will not be implementing a fix for these specific cases. We recommend adjusting subtitles and other sound settings to help aid comprehension of the NPCs in any situations where the sound is not perfectly balanced.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, @JPWiseguy!

We would generally recommend that you refrain from overclocking your system when playing any Ubisoft title, as this could cause technical issues such as crashing and freezing in-game. If you use an overclocked system and are encountering crashes in-game, then we would strongly recommend that you revert your system back to default to see if this helps to alleviate the technical issues experienced.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing game crashes whilst using the ";" key in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Thank you for taking the time to share your reports with us.

I was also able to replicate this issue in my own game as well. As @Richj_44 notes, it's not that the game freezes, but that you're no longer able to interact with mouse and keyboard. I've notified the development team of this issue so they can take a closer look at this. If we require any additional information from you, we'll reach out within this thread.
