Can you check if the bug itself is a visual bug (showing +0) that makes it seem like your rank is not increasing or decreasing by checking the ranking page in-game after playing some games, as you may be able to witness your proper ranking there.

This seems to be a very odd and unique situation you have found yourselves in, as it's not something I've seen before. The game is only officially supported to use the controllers listed here and shouldn't require the use of any other programs. Do you have any of these ones you can try, or see if there's another program you can use to try and make your controller work again instead of X360ce?

I have just merged your thread with another. I'm sorry to hear you have a strict NAT type and are unable to party up with your friend. As you are unable to do the port forwarding, maybe you can try using a different connection? If you are able to use mobile phone data instead of the wifi, and set the mobile phone up as a hotspot to connect to, it may help. It's not an ideal solution or ideal to play on mobile data, but it's something you could give a try and see if it gives you a better NAT type.
