Hey @vikay_

Can you just try completely exiting Ubisoft Connect and relaunching it, then see if you are able to update the game? Let us know if you are still having the issue.

@norior2021 Thanks for sharing the video. Can I also ask if you could try this hotfix workaround that was put into the game in a previous update and see if this still resolves it?

Follow these steps:

  • Create a manual save
  • Shutdown the game and relaunch it. Desynchronizing, reloading a save, or returning to title screen is not enough
  • Load the save created above
  • Eivor should be able to complete and continue the quest

I'm sorry to hear you are having some issues with the display. Can you provide some screenshots or record a video and upload it to YouTube (or similar) showing what you see when you launch the game without changing anything first, and the settings that you have to change?

I'll try to address all your issues here but it's easier to manage a thread and conversation with other users on the forums if issues are posted separately. If others jump in and everyone starts discussing multiple issues in the same thread, it gets a bit hard to follow.

The photo mode issue with giving a connection error when viewing some is a known issue and already being looked into. Regarding the photos on the map being old, this is possibly linked to the same issue, so I'll update the report to say this happens too.

@metaphyzikal1 The patch notes says "Instances where Eivor, NPCs, or the longship would get stuck" is resolved from this patch.

If you have any issues after downloading the patch today, please provide a link to a YouTube video (or similar) showing the game version number you are on and the issue and we'll get it reported.

I'm sorry your original post never got replied to back then. Can you upload your most recent save to the cloud in-game again and we'll get it forwarded on to the dev team. If you can also provide another video showing you are still able to do the rune duplication glitch from it, that would also be great, as the dev team will probably want to see that. Please show the game version number you are on in the video. There is also a patch out later today that will change the game version number, but this shouldn't affect this issue.

@virtualawesome Ah OK, glad to hear that. Sometimes you just need to leave the area and go quite far away for over 20 minutes for things like this to reset and try again. Thanks for letting us know 🙂

@jan_vp Would you be able to upload it to YouTube (or somewhere similar) as we're unable to download files. My apologies for any inconvenience, I should have mentioned that when asking for the video.

Having them uploaded somewhere without a time expiry is also useful as we forward the link on in a report, and it may need to be viewed multiple times and could be more than 7 days after receiving it too.

@thenorfolkian No worries, thanks for confirming. I did mention to them earlier if they can re-test on horseback as they were unable to reproduce it previously but maybe they were on foot. I'll let them know the bow doesn't make a difference for you too. Thanks again 🙂

I couldn't find any known issues with a chest from your description. Would you be able to take some screenshots of the location or just record a video showing the location and having a little look around the area and provide a link to it?
