Could you try completing the 'In Dreams...' quest first then see if that reveals the option to pledge to Snotinghamscire. Another player on a previous forum experienced a similar issue and mentioned it became available after completing the Asgard arc.
@IndigoAK thanks for the video provided, I will forward this on to the development team along with your save file for further investigation.
Access to the save file that is uploaded to the cloud is so that support can forward them on to the development team when an issue has been reported. This process is much faster than requesting save files manually. Also it is not possible for us to acquire manual saves from Xbox consoles or PS5.
Please be rest assured that support cannot open or modify these saves.

Hi @afewscarsmore as Ubi-Froggard mentioned the development team have focused on issues with a higher priority that have an impact on gameplay such as being unable to complete a quest to progress. This is a cosmetic issue and would not prevent you from playing the game.

After ongoing improvements aimed to fully address the issue it was not be possible to resolve this concern completely for all players.
As this particular issue will no longer be investigated we will now lock this thread.
If you do experience any issues with screen tearing of FPS drops on your console then please go through the troubleshooting if you haven't already done so then try again.
