I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues proceeding in the quest 'Cold Embers'.

If you have a previous save before you started the quest then I would recommend loading that and trying again. However, if this is not possible due to losing too much progression then could you please provide a video to demonstrate the issue.

@hllli_1414 thanks again for the video and for confirming when you killed Calder.

I'm sorry to see that meditating did not make Calder respawn. I have reported this issue to the development team to investigate.

Hi @pgrogers apologies for the late response.

Can you confirm if this crashing only started to occur after you installed the latest update, 1.6.0? Have you also experienced any crashes whilst in Ravensthorpe or when trying to do any of the Sigrblot festival quests or activities?

The reason I ask is because we are aware that some players are experiencing crashes since the festival, mainly in Ravensthorpe or when participating in the festival. However, we have also received other reports of crashes in random locations in the game too since the festival went live....

I am also sorry to hear that you have also been experiencing crashes whilst playing the game.

With regards to PC troubleshooting we would always recommend going through the basic troubleshooting steps first as this can sometimes resolve an issue related to crashing, freezing or fps drops.

On PC there are so many different setups that people use, anything could cause the issue.

I'm also sorry to hear that you are unable to progress in the quest 'Cold Embers'. As you have killed Calder this has prevented you from completing the quest.

Can you please try meditating then go back to the quest location and try again. This should hopefully make Calder respawn.

However, if this does not work then could you provide a video to show this.

Hi @Chr0miumred apologies for the late response.

I have looked at your video and I can confirm that the appearance of the cloak is different because you used the transmog feature.

This is an option that you can use at the blacksmith to make items that you have in your inventory change their visual appearance but keeping the same perks. This is indicated by the star in the top left corner of the thumbnail image.

You can remove the transmog by visiting the blacksmith.
