Hello everyone, thanks for bringing this to our attention about streets not working between certain buildings.

If possible, can someone provide a video showing the street being placed, but then the street showing as missing, so we can see how your maps and traffic routes look?

Hello @fxckyeah thanks for getting in touch with us about this UI element, not functioning as intended.

Thank you for also letting us know you have verified your game files as well as performed a reinstallation.

Have you tried running the game using a different DirectX version, such as 11 or 12? Changing which DirectX version the game uses in the settings, can sometimes resolve certain issues with UI and gameplay, working incorrectly.

Hello everyone, thanks for posting about the multiplayer issues you experienced in-game and sorry for the delay in replying.

I can confirm we did have issues on the 15th with outages, which made our Anno servers unreachable for some players, this was fixed by the next day.

To check if our Anno servers are having any issues that may be preventing you from connecting, please check our Anno game page here, under Connectivity and Perfomance server status > https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/game/anno-1800

Hello everyone, thanks for posting about this and sorry for the delay in replying.

We discovered that on the 15th December, we did indeed have an outage on our Anno servers that prevented players from connecting online. This was resolved on the 16th, apologies for any inconvenience.

If you are still having trouble connecting to our online servers, please make sure your Connect status is not set to 'offline' or 'invisible' as it may affect your ability to connect too, thank you.

I am sorry to hear of your random crash and freeze issues. Has this only happened after our recent update?

If so, it may be that some of your game files were interrupted or corrupted during the download process, which can sometimes result in issues such as crashing.

A fish shoal you use will indeed no longer replenish in that particular spot, if you have fully depleted that resource.

The fish shoals that you find that seem to deplete quicker than others, how is your water quality in that area, do you have any kind of pollution from ruins that might effect the surrounding water and quality of resources?

I believe you are referring to AC Valhalla, so please allow me to move your post to the Valhalla forum instead.

Can you let me know the name of the exact gear this has affected for you, so I can look into this further?

Do you find the gear has disappeared from your inventory, does the game not remember you have upgraded the gear, or is your issue something else?

Can I also ask, do you know if you are using mainly local saves to your PC, or do you happen to be using cloud save files to the server? This is so we can understand which type of save file is not recording your progress.

To investigate this crash you experienced in further detail, could you please tell me what game it is you were playing and on what platform, please?

Could you also tell me a little more about your crash? You mentioned this happens when you interact with certain things, or new enemies load in, what happens when the game crashes, does your screen display anything in particular after this happens?

Can you tell me how often these crashes occur, have they effected you as long as you have owned the game, ...

I am sorry to hear you experienced FPS drops when playing the SIege of Paris and the cavalry units charge you. I'm also sorry to hear no troubleshooting you have tried has resolved this for you.

If you can, please keep all posts of the same issue, in the same thread, so we can update players in one place. I will merge these threads now for this reason.

What platform do you play on and what kind of FPS rate do you normally get, then how much does this drop in-game when the cavalry attack, please?

Do you also have a video you can share of this behaviour on the 1.4.0 build for our QA team to take a look at?

Hello @die_langhe thanks for getting in touch and sorry to see you have come across this installation issue!

We are aware of this issue affecting our players on Xbox and we have two workarounds at the moment >

  1. Try remote installing the update via the Xbox app on your smartphone
  2. Navigate to the Xbox Store on your console or their website, try to initiate the update from the games store page

Hey @zengrath thanks for sharing your experience of trying to clear this camp undetected and how problematic the animals were.

I'm unaware of any ability that lets you assassinate animals or overcome them with ease, I believe this is by design. Perhaps using your wolf companion ability may help if your wolf was fully upgraded, but I am unsure if this will detect you, if you wolf kills an npc/animal npc.

Hopefully one of our players can share with you some tips and tricks of how they deal with situations like these, where the animals in the area can become a nuisance.

What happens if you try meditating? Are you then able to speak to Norvid or is he still giving you the silent treatment?

Can you try fast speaking to Randvi and also going to sleep in your bed, then return to Norvid, to see if he will then speak after interacting with others and progressing the day?

Hello @jmike thanks for posting and welcome to the Valhalla forums.

I can confirm that SLI or multiple graphic card setups are not supported in Valhalla or most of our games at the moment, so whilst we can offer you some troubleshooting to try and improve your FPS rate, what we can advise you will be limited by this.

Thanks for letting us know you experienced a better performance with the SLI enabled instead of disabled on one of your benchmarks. It may prove useful to tell us a little more about your setup and what other component models you have installed in your PC, whilst you await an answer from another SLI user.

We know of the bug you speak of and had though this to be resolved as of update 1.3.2.

Is your game fully updated on your PS5 to 1.4.0 and can you please upload your save file to the cloud so that we may access it?

Are you also able to record a video showing you are unable to access the door? PlayStation consoles should give you an option to record a clip using the share button on your controller, then upload this to YouTube or Twitter where you can share the link with us to view.

Hey @Shangames124 thanks for the image!

I can confirm this s working as intended. For Valhalla the devs decided to alter the character positioning on the screen, so that they appear slightly to the left, when traditionally, the main character would appear front and center.
