Hello everyone, thanks for reaching out to us about cross-play and cross-progression in Siege.

At the moment, we do not have cross-play enabled between PC and console, only PC and Stadia streaming.

Hello @theprnknghorse, thanks for reaching out to us.

Rainbow Six Siege does not yet fully support cross-progression across PC and PS4, so I'm afraid it won't be possible for you to play with your Dad.

We support cross-play where Xbox and Playstation players can play together.

We support cross-play where PC and Stadia players can play together, for now.

Thank you for keeping us updated on this @Azorgrath. The overlays that some programs and launchers use, can sometimes cause conflict with our games, on certain players systems, much like conflicting software does.

This is because it is running adjacent to the game in the background and connected online too, updating now and then. The more things you have connected online, the more this can also affect your FPS, not just system specs and setup. Thanks for clarifying @itsnaughtydog. That 4-0 error code is known to us, and steps have been taken by the Siege team to prevent it from occurring.

Reconnecting to ranked games can be an issue if your game force closes after crashing. Could you tell us a little more about these crashes you have experienced, to understand what may be causing it?

Did your computer restart itself?
Did the game crash and close itself down?
Did the game display a black, blue, or white screen?
Did the game completely freeze so you couldn't control anything and you had...

Hello @fs_slacker thank you for sharing this workaround, I know deleting some temporary files from your %TEMP% folder can improve performance, but using the disk clean up tool to clear your DirectX cache in particular is a great suggestion, thank you for sharing this.

@trashclown69 Thanks for trying to uninstall the latest Windows update for me. I do not believe this is the cause at the moment, but it was worth investigating to rule at least one thing out.

Thank you everyone for the feedback you have provided on how you found the tutorials in-game and thank you for the images of keybindings you have provided for our other players.

We know of two issues with the Summit Combat Mastery and the progress not tracked being tracked is one of these issues and the issue has been reopened for investigation.

Would you be able to answer the following questions to understand your experience of this >

  • Can you tell us how often you notice this when playing the Summit?
  • The summit saves you progress and checkpoints you on every first, fourth, seventh and tenth floor. Do you notice invisible enemies on a particular one of these floors, or does it happen at random?
  • Do you notice invisible enemies after dying and respawning?
  • Have you been able to record a clip of these invisible enemies, so we can see (or rather not) this for ourselves?

The Delta 1 error code can appear in a few situations, but this is the first time I've heard it be connected to the Summit.

Would you be able to answer the following so we can report on this? >

  • When you go to use your affected characters and launch from the title screen, does the game appear to load at first, but then gets interrupted and shows you the Delta 01 error code?

I am sorry to hear that our troubleshooting and Dirty5636's workaround did not resolve your issue.

Before we ask you for your dxdiag system files for investigation, would you be able to clarify the exact type of issue you are having, as there are a few separate issues affecting players at the moment >

If you have noticed this recently in your game, would you also be able to tell us the following our QA team has inquired >

  • Were you in another player's session when you interacted with Cassie Mendoza?
  • Did you finish the bounty from the Snitch, before you interacted with her, as sometimes the bounty has been known to fail, but Cassie can still be contacted?

Thanks for your reply @haywardgb we know of several players that have experienced this crash to desktop issue, who have reached out to us by various means. We are still working on a fix for this and we are continuing to monitor our forums, for recent reports and any insights players can provide such as what they were doing before the crash occurred. I am sorry we have not been able to update you with positive news as of yet.
