Can you let me know if your save file is uploaded to the cloud server (has a little cloud on the load screen) and updated, so that we may access it?

Thanks for confirming this too @jeremy7071xx if you can, try to load up a save from before you acquired the second scythe, if you don't have one of these save files, I would hold off upgrading any of the scythes until we can hopefully patch this, as we can't guarantee the upgrade will be saved or the materials used will not be lost as you expereinced!

Hey @smpljakmyschlng thanks for letting us know this.

We understand the scythe can reappear at Norvid's shop after already purchasing it. Please avoid selling this extra scythe for now, as it could cause an issue down the line as TheNorfolkian is quite right. If you can load a previous save, from before you obtained the second scythe please do. If you can not, please wait for this issue to be patched in the game.

In the meantime, I will let the team know about this behavior with the upgrading you mentioned, thank you.

Hello @magenta2019 thanks for posting.

Can you please locate the game on your Xbox consoles store page, then try launching/updating it from there, as that appeared to work for players having the same issue.

We also know that some players downloaded the Xbox app on a smartphone, which allowed them to start a remote install the game with no error codes or error messages, which is another step you can try.

We are aware of this primarily affecting Xbox players and are investigating the situation.

Hello yippeekiyamhf thank you for uploading that clip for us.

To gather a little more information on this issue, does this affect all mysteries, only mysteries, or does it affect other things you are trying to discover, such as when taking part in side quests and having to locate an NPC, will the raven will narrow down the area for you when you fly by?

Have you always experienced this issue with the raven, or did it only occur recently after an update?

No worries @thegardener25, thanks for letting us know.

Some players will have the items pushed to their account early, this can sometimes happen with timed twitch rewards too, but we ask players to wait until the event is over, to see if they have had the item pushed to their account, as usually, most players would receive the item by 24 hours after the event ended. This then allows us to check accounts afterward and sometimes add the missing item if able, for that particular item.

Hello @xrydellx thanks for the image. I have looked into this for you and the community challenge is still open until the 2nd of December, to allow other players to still take part, even though the target has been reached already.

The rewards will be making their way to player's accounts after the 2nd of December!

Error codes can appear in the game for a number of reasons, sometimes the error code that appears when speaking to Reda can happen if you already own a certain item you are trying to select, if there is a maintenance on the server, (such as today between 1-4pm GMT), or they can occur if you are using a wireless connection and using quick resume on Xbox, sometimes the connection can drop out and you will see an error code.

We found that using a wired connection and not using a quick resume, would stop the error code ...

Hello @jedislayer05 thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Are there any particular NPC's whose lips do not move, or any particular cutscenes?

If you were to exit the game without saving and then enter that cutscene again, does the same exact thing happen again in the exact same way, to see if this happens in the same place each time?

If this occurs at certain cutscenes, every single time, I would recommend verifying your game files by following this guide, in case there are certain files missing or needing updating that may be causing this. V...

Hello everyone, thanks for bringing this to our attention!

We have had some issues reported with not being able to pick up a key, but not with the interaction needed with the sphere.
Are you able to upload a short 1-minute video clip of this to a video hosting website, then send us its URL link to view this?

Xbox and PlayStation consoles should give you an option to record a clip using the share button on your controller, then upload this to YouTube or Twitter. This will allow us to view the bug and see if we can replicate it too.

I'd like you to check two more things that are not listed in the troubleshooting guide, which would be to check your anti-virus or built-in Windows anti-virus, Defender, in case it is blocking certain Valhalla files and preventing it from launching.

Make sure the game is not quarantined as a threat in your anti-virus software if using any and please also check in your 'Protection History' in your Windows 'Virus & threat protection settings, by looking for this option for this in your main settings on Windows.
If any game files are quarantined as a threat, this can stop the game from launching or connecting online.

Afterwards, please run a System File Check (SFC) for any corrupted system files and a CHKDSK for any corrupted hard drives or missing files on your system which may be causing these crashes >

I had never noticed myself until you had just pointed it out, but you are correct, Eivor appears slightly to the left of the screen, whereas in the previous games, the protagonist was always front and center of the screen.

I am not of the development team, so I wouldn't be able to say for certain why this change of character position was made officially, but perhaps one of our community team members will be able to answer.

Upload your game save to your PS5.
Look for a letter from Randvi in your Ravensthorpe settlement and read the letter.
Next, speak to Toka and Pierre in the guesthouse at Raventhorpe, to trigger the Siege of Paris questline.
