Does the game always crash at the exact same point or is it random crashing since you reached a certain point in the game? If you haven't already done so please attempt all of the steps suggested here first of all and let us know how you get on. Thanks!

This error usually means that Xbox servers are undergoing maintenance, if this error is occurring outside of server maintenance we would have advised similar troubleshooting to the steps you've already been off...

Can you ensure all launchers and the exe file for the game are running as administrator and are all whitelisted in any antivirus/security software you're using please and then see if the settings save after doing so, please?
